Good game!

PoTG: Henrik

Good: Defense was fantastic. Staal played his first mistake-free game since he's been back. Del Zotto is a revelation. Gaborik was on fire. So happy for Anisimov. We were opportunistic., finally.

Bad: Richards is absolutely awful.

Redden: The lack of intelligence on this team really pisses me off. Anything that requires a specific skill or a scrap of brainpower this team fails miserably at. Faceoffs, power play, not taking penalties, they are incapable of making it work.

The team played pretty well, and they scored when they had chances, that's all that matters though.

Henrik has a very good chance at his first 40 win season this year, despite playing fewer games. If he plays 25 of the last 32 (reasonable, would put him at 63 games) he would need 16 wins to get 40.

Reachable.

Anisimov is also up to 40 point pace again.

Good: the 3 stars, win streak over the Flyers.
Bad: Entirely too many penalties
Redden: I'm still not buying what Staal is selling. Sorry.

I didn't think Richards was that bad. He made quite a few nice plays on the PP.

how many dirty plays in that game?

hair pulling takes the cake though.

i missed the first period but i'd have to say henrik and gaborik both deserve the nod. the whole 'd' as well, was great. bickel playing super-tough, girardi and del zotto and mcdonagh just playing like rocks. stralman too, was good. dubi made a few nice strong plays. prust... list list goes on...

Sucks I missed this game since no MSG and wasn't home. At least I can watch the condensed game on Gamecenter on my phone.

The folks saying Cally and Richards were bad either forgot to watch the game and are looking at the score sheet, or simply forget any play which wasn't a goal.

Seriously.

Anisimov on his goal: "I didn't know. I go on the bench and I go, 'Whoa. I score?' Nice."

Would like to hear this said with a Borat voice... Epic

Mcdonagh didn't look too sharp this game. wouldn't say he was bad but he worried me. so did Staal. i'm hoping we don't have to wait until next season to see Staal back and at 100%.

Set up at least two great chances for his teammates, had a couple of good chances, made a good defensive play on the EN goal. Yeah, Richards played so awful

Also, I like Bickel's grit but it's probably time for him to take a seat
