Saw Raffi (Boston) play in an OSHL game last night. He played defense and I think? he had 4 assists setting up some nice goals. Turco played for the other team (Toronto) and man, is he ever quick. TV does not do justice for these guys in goal. Those guys can fire the puck hard, and I mean hard. Turco made the BEST glove save that I have ever seen, bare none, in real life. The players were passing the puck to him like he was another defenseman. He can make a tape to tape pass from his crease to the other team's blueline (no redline) nearly anytime that he wants.

Anyways, it looked like the guys were having fun out there, Turco and Odelein the most. I don't know what they are getting paid for this, but it is just like a big game of shinny for them all. A lot of NHL enforcers on both rosters that show their other skills with no hitting or fighting. Aaron Downey was by far the worst player, skills wise out there.

Jeez, it's nice to think of people actually having FUN playing hockey. Too bad they couldn't realize how lucky they are to do so in the NHL, even if they made half the average salary. Hope the guys who take advantage of these playing opportunities remember how good a time they had.
