No one (myself included) going for The Dream. Maybe he can surprise us all and beat Ellenberger... I just don't see it. But who knows, you know if he can he'll make it into a 3 round war.

If he tries to fight Ellenberger like he did against Kampmann (I thought he lost that fight) he'll get KO'd.

I dunno, if there's one thing that Diego's recent fights have shown me it's that I don't know if it's actually physically possible to knock him out. Like he's fuelled by this inexhaustible well of pure craziness that allowed him to take mountains of abuse at the hands of BJ, John Hathaway and Kampmann (for one round, anyways) without getting stopped. So I think Ellenberger's in for a three-round fight unless he gets a stoppage on cuts or a swollen-up eye or something. He might fade a little as the fight goes on but ultimately I think he's gonna do enough early in the fight to take a pretty clear decision win.

Any fellow Canadians know what the deal is with when this is airing on Sportsnet? On my guide it says Sportsnet Pacific is showing it at 11:30pm, SportsnetOne says it's showing UFC 143 at 9pm, wtf? I'm with Shaw in BC btw.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Sportsnet Ontario is the only one showing this live in Canada and I don't get that channel in HD. ****

For some reason Sportsnet West isn't showing it until 12:30am. I guess I'll watch it on Thursday.

Yea, looks like just Sportsnet East and Ontario are showing it at the proper time. Checked the website and SportsnetOne is showing it at 9pm pacific(not 143 as my program guide states, lol). Would be nice if SportsnetOne would show it live, but instead they're showing basketball, lame.

Wow, Stipe getting a ton of love on here. Is De Fries terrible or something? I like Stipe, but I thought his debut was pretty lackluster.

Beating Beltran in his UFC debut is impressive.

If you thought his debut was lacklustre, I'm wondering what term you would use to describe the disgustingly dreadful affair that De Fries put forward in his own debut. I'd rather donate my eyes to charity than watch that fight again. Now, credit to De Fries for the win but I can't possibly pick someone who put me through that.

Apparently Johny Hendricks drank too much of Mr. Burns' brain and nerve tonic, and is now suffering from gigantism.

I'll admit, I don't even remember that fight. I forget a lot of the lesser known guys unless they really make an impression on me early on. Only reason I remember Miocic's first fight was because I knew of him beforehand, having followed him in NAAFS.

Beltran is tough, but he's not that good. Beating him doesn't really impress me.

It was really bad, he eked out a decision over fatbody brawler Rob Broughton mostly on based on the fact that he took him down repeatedly, but he also nearly got submitted once or twice. In fairness he came close to submitting Broughton a couple times as well, but overall he looked like hot garbage and was visibly gassed within the space of like one round. I fully expect him to get taken down, maybe try a couple of half-hearted submission attempts and then get pounded out.
