Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. Jake Ellenberger (dec) -- I think Ellenberger hits too hard and is too good a wrestler to lose this fight. As I mentioned I can see Diego having a strong third because I think his cardio is a little better than Ellenberger's, but I think he'll be pretty badly beat up by that point.

Heavyweight bout: Stefan Struve vs. Dave Herman (KO) -- Unless Struve has learned to actually use his reach and protect his chin a little better, I think Herman hits hard enough to knock him out again. Though I have to come clean here and say that I am kind of hoping that Struve wins by DQ after Herman tries to re-enact the greatest KO ever.

Middleweight bout: Aaron Simpson vs. Ronny Markes (TKO) -- Markes looked pretty good outwrestling a decent 205er in Vemola, now he fights a smaller but more accomplished wrestler in Simpson. I'm a little worried about Markes' gas tank since he seems to be cutting a lot of weight to make 185, but Simpson hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire lately. We've seen him get rocked a couple times in the past and I'll go with Markes managing to do them same and then pound out a stoppage.

Heavyweight bout: Stipe Miocic vs. Philip De Fries (TKO) -- discussed earlier, De Fries stinks.

Bantamweight bout: T.J. Dillashaw vs. Walel Watson (dec) -- TJ must be salivating at the though of fighting a guy with long legs and high centre of gravity. Maybe Watson can catch him with a knee when he shoots but I'm betting he's in for a long night of fighting off his back.

Bantamweight bout: Ivan Menjivar vs. John Albert (dec) -- going with the vet, no other real reason.

Featherweight bout: Jonathan Brookins vs. Vagner Rocha (dec) -- Rocha looked terrible against Cerrone but that was mostly because Cerrone outstruck him so badly and wouldn't engage with him on the ground. Not sure what Brookins' gameplan is gonna be since his striking is probably not good enough to decisively beat Rocha in that area. I'm gonna guess he goes for takedowns and plays it pretty conservatively to notch a ho-hum kind of win.

Middleweight bout: Buddy Roberts vs. Sean Loeffler -- I've been fairly impressed with Roberts in his previous fights in high-level organizations like Reno XTreme Fights and Shamrock Smackdown. However after Loeffler's recent win over noted middleweight Marquis McKnight in Gladiator Challenge, I find it hard not to go with him here.

Lightweight bout: Anton Kuivanen vs. Justin Salas -- The Finnish Fist (as he's known on the local circuits) is in for one of the toughest fights of his career here against the VFC lightweight champion (please note that 'V' is only one letter away from 'U'). Ultimately I don't think his all-around game is good enough to deal with Salas' multifaceted attack.

Lightweight bout: Tim Means vs. Bernardo Magalhaes -- having been a huge Tim Means fan for ages now, I'm stoked to see him finally make his UFC debut. Magalhaes has made some noise on the Australian circuit but I don't think he's ready for the huge step up in competition that "The Dirty Bird" offers.

I actually bet a little money on Diego. Just one of those gut feelings because everything says he should lose.

So, the Brittany Palmer pics leaked. Not the best Playboy work. Pretty poor, actually. Stupid poses, bad photography, worse shopping.

Wow, that was awesome. I can't believe I've never seen that before. I had to look up who he KO'd as I thought it was Mark Hunt at first but it was fellow Kiwi Jim York.

That's great stuff.

I was looking at Loeffler on fightfinder and he is the ultimate can crusher. Almost all his wins are over guys with losing records and many with zero wins. Out of his 25 wins, 12 of them were over in the 1st minute of the fight and only 3 went past the 1st round. Two of those 3 ended in the 1st minute of the 2nd round. The only names he's fought are Bryan Baker and Edgar Garcia who both finished him in under 3 minutes. I'm starting to regret picking him but if I change it i'm sure he'll end up winning.

I've been reasearching Tim Means a bit this week and he doesn't look that bad actually. He's the KOTC lightweight champ and his only losses are to quality fighters. From the videos I saw it looked like his standup is pretty good and so was his g'n'p. That's from a very limited amount of clips though. He'll likely get KO'd in the first round now that I've said this.

Yeah honestly all three of those guys are pure Fight Finder picks on my part but I figured I'd have some fun with it. And yeah, Means did stick out a little since I know KOTC is at least a somewhat legit organization and he's racked up a pretty decent record there.

I can't be the only one who wants to call this guy "The Dean of Means".

And yeah I posted Herman's KO of Jim York. Actually in his very next fight after that one he got legit DQ'd for kneeing Sokoudjou in the head repeatedly when he was down, so a DQ might not be a bad bet

Kuivanen won that round, but we all know that the judges were suckered into giving Salas the round for the takedowns (with zero done with them).

Unfortunately I would have to agree. The pics don't do her justice.

No, it was in some weird one-time promotion that took place in Abu Dhabi. This is the fight, not really sure what Herman was thinking.

It's amazing that Playboy can take in such a hot babe and pump out cheesy shots that look like they were taken in 1983.

What a fight.

Wasn't a fan of the illegal knee though.
