Buying a jersey in general is pretty lame. There are guys at my college that wear NHL jerseys like its a fashionable piece of clothing. It looks kinda childish actually. I need to give them some tips on how to dress like a man.
How that makes me an elitist I have no clue. I don't tuck in my jersey. I don't care if someone's a bad player. I don't hotdog. I simply hate it when people put more work into their appearance than their actual game. They just do it because they want attention and to stand out. I wear everything regular. I don't try to customize anything or act special.
It's accessorizing. It's like putting a rear wing on a 1992 civic.
Someone sitting at a game looking at everyone and what they're wearing and possibly ridiculing them is probally seeking a lot more attention than someone throwing their last name on their jersey!
The mere fact you notice it and choose to judge it shows how insecure you are. Even worse, you come here start a thread about it to even find out if it is lame. You can't even form an opinion for yourself whether it's lame.
What people do to support their team is there business not yours! You see someone with a Leafs jersey on why not make a friend and discuss the team rather than sitting there judging the back of the shirt.
Would you chirp a 6 year old for wearing a jersey with their name on it????? Then why would you chirp someone that's likely been watching the team since they were six and been doing the same thing for years!
Stupid ###### thread and stupid ####### comments in it!! Shows you just what's wrong with the world!!
