NOW! Drew Remenda/Puck Daddy Talking Sharks

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-pu...medium=twitter

Puck Daddy (Greg Wyshynski) is talking with Drew Remenda on his show today. Right now they are talking about who their favorite old school Sharks are.

They are singing Arturs Irbe's praises, talking about the OV-line, and basically making us old school fans relive that magical 93-94 season. They'll be talking about Busters announcement with Drew.

Happening now.

Drew says that his favorite old school Shark is Dean Evason. Talked about his experience in doing play by play for NHL video games. Said it was weird having to record player names in different emotional tones

Haha Drew just said that Owen would take players aside and say "if you don't pick it up, I'm going to make your life miserable" and I'm just thinking MARLEAU.

So they are talking about the Sharks need a top 6 and then throw Moen's name in there. Moen is not a top 6 player anyway .. right?

Hahaa I thought the same thing!

Drew is giving some great background on him right now. Describes him as someone who could be "emotionally combustable" at times, but that marrying his wife balanced him out. Drew texted Owen today and said "this league would be much better if there were more guys like you in it."

Drew says if he could pick a top 6 forward for the Sharks to pick us up, it would be Ray Whitney

Wyshynski says that with the Wings and Blues being more successful this season, that it feels like the Sharks have gone back to being more of a stealth team. Says that last year was a great learning season for the Sharks and loves that fact that we traded away Heatley.

With Hitchcock as their coach, of course.

No way in hell that would happen, at some point in the 1st OT Burns, Boyle, or Murray would score on Niemi.

I laughed my ass off. But at the same time, Joe has been helluva lot better since the AS break, so maybe he's decided to start playing now and all that "decline" worry was for nothing.

This is my favorite show every day and today's episode was right up there with the best of them. There's so much snark, but they get historical and funny that it makes being a hockey fan that much cooler. Loved Drew on the show today and loved that Marek vs. Wyshynski went old school Sharks, even though I think I agree with Marek on the definition of old school. The Sharks just still seem new. Also, a name that wasn't brought up that was a cool name? Vincent Damphoose. Yeah we don't really remember him as a Shark, but he brought some good seasons with the team, and watching him and Nolan play was always fun.

Didn't listen to the interview, but that is some fine bull-shtery. "...governing his acceleration."

I pick on Drew sometimes but Ray Whitney is a good idea. Doubt Phoenix deals him but he'd be a terrific addition.
