Canuck fan coming in peace

Was just wondering what it would take to get Braydon Coburn from u guys?

I know ur looking for defence as well so would Ballard and Alberts work?

Ballard can rush the puck and can hit, plays better when given more ice time to get himself into the game.

Alberts is ig and hits and can somewhat clear the crease which replaces what Pronger brought a little bit.

Both combined make just under 1 million more than Coburn for next season but this season make almost 2M more

if ur not interested in trading Coburn at all would a 3rd round pick or Sestito and a 5th work for Alberts?

We've had Alberts and are not interested in having him again.

Coburn is going nowhere.

I'd be willing to take a pick for Sestito, personally....looking over the Canucks on capgeek and HF, it's hard to see a way to make it work. Ballard's extension is a turn off for me & I have no desire to see Alberts in Philly again.

yea i didn't think u guys would want to give up Coburn at all hahaha

u guys really don't want Alberts? I thought he would fill taht need of a big physical d-man Flyers fans wanted.

Granted it sounds like he was horrible when he was last here but Alberts has improved a lot since joining the Canucks, he went from a pylon who could hit in corners when he got here to being able to actually play defense well for a 3rd pairing guy along with hit now.
Its just our coach has a man crush on Rome, and this season Rome has developed somewhat of an offensive game. so he's battling Ballard for the 6th spot and Ballard is not going to lose that, but the coach doesn't really like his game so he sits him sometimes in favor of Alberts

They only way Alberts could replace what Pronger brought by a little bit would be to carry his pads onto the ice. I want no parts of Alberts, and I doubt that any Flyers fan would.

Hamhuis and a 2nd-3rd.

BTW Coburn and Bieksa are pretty much the same players. Big strong athletic guys, who aren't consistent. Coburn is more athletic. Bieksa is more physical.

I have no issue in trading Coburn, but the trade would have to fill a need. The Flyers and Canucks just are not real good trade partners right now

Ballard's value is pretty much null. The only way he will get traded to anyone is if the Canucks are taking a bad contract in return hoping the change of scenery helps.
