I've heard rumblings of the Blue Jackets possibly trading him. Is there any way that he makes sense on the Blues? I heard guys on the radio saying he's the answer to the Blues scoring woes.
He's a 7.8 million cap hit for the next 6 years. That's not including this year. He has 34 points through 52 games played and is a -21. That would put him 2nd on the Blues currently behind Backes for points.
Backes by the way is a 4.5 million cap hit for the next 4 years.
I get that Nash plays on a bad team at the moment and that will skew his stats some. But, facts are facts.
Through 644 games played Nash has tallied 522 points. So a clip of .81/game.
Yeah he'd be a nice addition to the Blues. But at that price? Not to mention what you would have to give up in return.
He would be a great fit because he has scored at least 30 goals in 6 of 8 NHL seasons, with those 2 being his rookie season and a season with 27 goals. He has hit the 40 mark twice with a season of 38 and a season with a pace of 47 goals to go along with those as well. He would be a great fit, especially to be with Hitch again, but his salary won't allow a deal to happen.
for the price nash is way over priced. In a perfect society the blues would have Nash, Backes, and Brown on the top line. Nobody would want to **** with that line. I don't ever see that happening though.
Not interested in Nash whatsoever. I enjoy watching Oshie plow him over way too much to ever want him on my team. Besides Columbus wouldn't want to trade him to a division rival, and I don't blame them. Doesn't make sense for either side.
