This may sound bad but I feel bad for Connolly. He look invisible out there cause he is playing with 2 plugs. He makes sweet passes and most time Crabb or Lombardi can't finish. I bet with better finishers it would look like he is contributing more

I think needsf to address the 3rd line and give Connolly a finishers/shooter. Crabb is ok but a 4th liner it would be good to see a better guy on that line who will crash the net, coupled with Lombardi speed it can make 3 full lines

Maybe there is a ufa rental that could fill that role to help us get a playoff spot

I am thinking of a guy like Smyth or Rutuu someone we don't have to keep as we guys for next year in the minors

other than that, the forwards are playing great today. lombo having a great game, but still can't finish for the life of him. but that beauty of a pass makes up for about 10 missed scoring chances at least..
He doesn't look like he's playing at the same speed as the rest of the team mentally. Skating is fast, decisions seem to be out of sync with mates.

Maybe he's trying to do too much now that Army is back and pressure is on to keep jobs?

He's a scout's dream in the way he prepares himself and plays an unselfish game, making smart decisions with the puck. With his bloodlines, he certainly understands what it will take to make it at the next level.

gotta admit as good as grabo was last season and this i never envisioned him as a guy i really want to be our 2nd line center in the next years but man oh man he`s good and deserving that extension...

Speaking of songs at the ACC, what's the song right at the beginning of this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqnJ3e-W5Yc

Do they always play that song when the Leafs are trying to tie it up near the end of the game?

We really have to re-jig the lines so they're a bit stronger defensively..

Kulemin-Bozak-Kessel
Lupul-Grabovski-MacArthur

KBK line has had chemistry in the past... Lupul would likely make the Grabo line our legit top line as he can bury the chances Kulemin has been missing.

i don't feel sorry for connolly, the guy shouldn't be useless without great players around him. he just isn't fast enough or physical enough to impact the game at ALL. grossly overpaid.

I'm hoping Khabi starts the 3rd.

Keep in mind 3 of the Oilers 6 defenseman in tonight are coming off long term leg injuries - Barker, Gilbert and Whitney. There's a reason they're getting beaten wide so easily tonight.

It's no coincidence that Petry and Smid are by far the best Oil dmen tonight, two guys who aren't coming off injuries.

Potter is just flat out awful defensively it's hard to watch - especially him "defending" a rush.

Need to get a few more before I feel comfortable. Glad we're not going to be facing Hall-RNH-Eberle more then once or twice a season for next decade or so.

Even though it's a 2 goal lead going into the 3rd I don't think this game is near from over.

Overall I think Reimer has looked really shaky tonight, 1 quick goal by the Oilers and they'll be fired up and right back in the game.

I think if the Leafs get one more goal this game is over

Both top lines are on fire. Now's so not the time to mess with that.

Jordan Eberle is a reason we keep our first round pick this year!
