Wait, Hank is actually starting this one? But it's an important game against a division rival that we might face in the 1st round!
Still facepalming at starting Biron last game.
yes you want to win vs your division but i think if henrik plays jersey and biron plays that buffalo game. we only get 2 of 4 points. i don't see how biron would have won that buffalo game.
Sure make jokes about it now, but when the Devils officially declare bankruptcy after this season and can't afford to pay Ilya his $11 million a year is when the real comedy starts. Can you say "low budget team." It rhymes with "bye bye Parise."
Honestly, though. Hopefully the Devils sort out their financial **** and find some investors. It would suck for them to go the way of the Isles. There's nothing quite like a competitive rivalry, it just makes things so much more fun!
Maybe some truth to this and I don't see Brodeur pulling a Mario Lemeiux and saving us. Nobody knows the extent of their financial woes better than the Devils themselves. All I can do is go to the Rock enjoy what we got going right now. Good to see you appreciate seeing your rivals franchises being healthy and competitive as well.

I can't support this at all. I want to see both those teams (NJ and NYI) rot away. I want their fans to be crushed. I want them to feel heartache and misery. We can have rivalries with Philly and Boston, as we have in the past.

This, but except the Islanders. I have nothing against them nor their fans unlike the Devils. I don't care whatsoever if the Devils move (which I doubt they will).

Definitely don't wish a Mets-type situation on any opponents. Especially the Devs. Always a great game and the Devils are probably one of the most respectable franchises in the league. Kind of the anti-Flyers.
Best wishes (aside from when they play the Rangers

just in to say its always nice to see a fellow person who is a fan of the GAME first and foremost, followed closely by his favorite team. much respect. breaks my heart to see any team…even the thrashers…leave their fans..that would include the isles or, in an alternate universe, the rangers.

I am not hot on the idea of destroying the Devils, I have a lot of respect for the franchise...
but the counter argument could be made that a fan of the NHL would support moving a team away from where it isn't making money to somewhere it might. Like Quebec City.
Out at Penn State with the wife today cause she's working a career fair, so we'll be listening to most of the game on the way home..should make for an interesting car ride!
Beat this freaking team.
LGR!!
So you'll be the guy with his thumb out on the side of the road.
The Devils GDT makes me cringe. Lets Kick Someone Jersey Ass!
You guys think there's gonna be any Giants at the game?
Even though I rooted against them, it would be cool if I can see them there with the Lombardi Trophy in person, even though I will barely see it from section 420.

oh, no doubt…just ask the fans in Winnipeg. but the die hard fans are the ones who get ****ed the hardest. they are the ones who invested so much time, energy, and money into the franchise. it really does break my heart to see them have their team ripped away from them- what a helpless feeling- despite how the move many benefit another city. of course, Winnipeg went through this with the original Jets, but you know what I’m saying. either way, I don’t see any of the atlantic division teams leaving.
Incosistently. He's shown glimpses of his former self. And he's made some very bad mistakes. He played very well against Philly on Sunday.
Btw. Nice to see another Cliftoner here.
I really dont think he's been that inconsistent. Maybe a slow start where he was a little shaky but you gotta keep in mind this guy had no training camp, was behind on conditioning, and had missed basically half the season. There is a drastic difference from his first game back against Philly to his second one against Philly on Sunday. He is A LOT quicker out there in his skating, aggressiveness, and decision making. And that was quite possibly, at least I think so, the most physical game this season. Staal didnt back down or play timid. I think he is coming into his own.
No lucky bounces for them in MSG. Also, it's nice to see Artie on that top line again where he belongs. I have no idea what putting him on the fourth line did for his game. If they kept him there, he would have produced sooner than later.
dear god why is Brandon Prust on the 2nd line?! that's absurd.
Why is Hagelin on the 4th line? Seems like he's at least 3rd line talent.

I'm a little worried about this. But much more worried that Larsson is out. It's a sign of how awful the Devils defense is that an 18/19 year old rookie is the #1 defenseman.
No Tallinder either, etc... They've been winning somehow, and Marty/Moose has been great recently, but I'm just waiting for the defense to crack.
Not sure why some people think this is an instant win with hank in net. Devils always play us tough and they have been playing some of there best hockey of the season. Not to mention Kovalslut is also hot right now. Here's to a good game and may the Rangers win.
