Injuries happens all the time and they have no one to fill the roster. Even last year they had to use players like Doug Janik and Commy, and I have no idea what they gonna do next season.
Hopefully Detroit will contnue to play like last night to prove that I was right back in August 2012.

Any word on what the entrance and goal songs will be for the Jackets this year?

Just as a general question, anyone know how the 3 goal chili will work this year with our ticket cards? I don't like chili and don't partake in it but i'm just curious how people can get their free chili.

Maybe they will hand out coupons now like OSU does for their free french fries give away at BB games.

Good question. I do like their chilli and usually took advantage of the reward. I would guess it's lost in the dust of techo progress.

“@Carlumbus: Practicing for the #CBJ bobevansfarms Chili Chant!!! http://t.co/TMFBGbvl”

It seems that the chant lives, but with a new sponsor.

I was looking at the program from Mondays game and found this in there. Seems the Cannon Crew has a new sponsor and logo. This is a great logo IMO.

I like it. That could be a shoulder patch (minus the sponsor name of course).

A new low- The laughing stock of the league (according to Puck Daddy)

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-pu...9346--nhl.html

I don't usually post but I was pretty pissed off when I read this article. Not that anyone should put any stock into Puck Daddy, but this is just a classless act. Just thought I'd share what some ******* hockey writer thinks about Columbus. What's the point of this?

When I saw "(PHOTO)" in the headline, I felt certain it was going to be a more publicized CBJ-related photo from this week.

I don't get the outrage.

Awesome fan enjoying the hell out of a game, with the caption which basically says, "Look at this Blue Jacket fan, and everything he's gone through and he's still happy. No matter what team you cheer for, you have nothing to complain about."

Shows a lot of respect for the fans, and is honest about what the team is, and has been.

There's a reason why I went from 2 videos about the team 2 seasons ago, to 1 video about the team, and one video about the fans... The Team is what they are. The fans, as always, are awesome.

Guess I'm not seeing the classlessness. I read it as "after all the **** they've been through...you'd think CBJ fans would be the ones who have a right to piss and moan. Yet here they are excited for hockey. So **** fans of 0-2 teams like LA, PHI or NYR."

I guess you see him as being sarcastic or saying Columbus fans are morons for following this team?

Edit: I read it again and like it. I think he's complimenting us. Although I didn't get 1st read through the "Bill Gates" reference...I guess the fan pictured does have resemblance. Thanks for sharing.

I think people jumped the gun. What you described is what was intended. I think the picture made people think the writer was making fun of him.

I read it as "Columbus is the Joke of the league and hey! Look! I found the most ridiculous picture to prove my point." Look at the tone of his article. Taking shots with lines like "he was photographed looking like this," "I would sign up for his goal-setting workshop," and "Hooray, it could have been worse!" don't sound like words of praising.

You think the writer could get away with this if he wrote about any other franchise in the league? I understand the point of the article but he definitely could have done a better job of getting his point across.
