Concussion was never confirmed AFAIK.

But it is very likely he did have one. He was quoted as saying he did not remember how he got to the locker room and once there could not find this locker.

Including Atkinson? I heard he was close to returning and suggested as early as Sunday.

Although he said he feels fine, hope he/they're not rushing it. Would rather have him sit out longer until he's 100%, even though we need him back asap. I've seen/heard players coming back to soon from a concussion and end up being out for the season after a couple of games.

@RobMixer "Non of the other injured (Atkinson, Aucoin, Moore) are skating today #CBJ"

@smitchcd " #CBJ Moore, Atkinson, Aucoin not present. Appears none will play before road trip next week."

BTW the lines today were the following.

22-42-10
18-16-15
11-17-71
9-24-40

Interesting lines. Anisimov and Prospal had some success in NY. I'd like to see Dubinsky in on that line also.

Thank god that Anisimov got moved to a new line. Should get him scoring again.

Having to play between Dorsett and Umbeger should have been outlawed in the new CBA. Poor Brassard.

Idk them being paired with letestu will make for a interesting combo. Hopefully they can consistently generate some offense. Put Umberger in the center of the 3rd line and throw Dubi on the 2nd wing and I think we have a really nice set of lines. (For what we have to work with)

I think if you were to switch dubinsky and Umberger, and switch Dorsett and Calvert the top 2 lines should be able to create some offense while the bottom 6 would play a really physical defensive style.

Since LA lost as of right now you guys have the 2nd, 3rd and 8th overall picks. You guys are going to be awesome in a couple season!

Jealous.

Lol, bit early to say we have those picks. LA will be fine. I hope you're right though.

Boy, this needs to play out. We might even be able to flip those for some "right now" players if somebody wants to move up...

...I can dream, can't I?

It would be a nightmare to give up those 3 picks.

I attended quite a few OSU hockey games during the lockout, Goaltender Brady Hjelle had some pretty impressive moves (Duely noted College Hockey is vastly another story than NHL/AHL Hockey) but I was kind of surprised that it looks like nobody had rights to him yet. He's a Senior this year, other than he's on the small side at 5'10" I was wondering why Ive never seen his name mentioned before in Pro circles.

“@smitchcd: #CBJ G Steve Mason has a .903 PP save percentage. He ranks sixth among 28 goalies who have faced 30 or more PP shots.”

I think I found David Savard's problem other than his skating.

http://video.bluejackets.nhl.com/vid...ed-share-video

Look at him in that video, he looks rather pudgy.

Those number are, I believe, for shootouts.

I don't believe 28 goalies have seen 30 shots in a shootout this year. At 3 shots a piece per shootout plus occasional extra rounds, that would mean each goalie has been in 8-10 shootouts this season. That simply has not been the case.

Sorry, I was mistaken, those are Power Play numbers.

Correct, I found it interesting because it is almost the same as his total save % of .904.

I have seen four OSU games so far and while he needs work on rebound control, Hjelle can play and should get a trial somewhere. Like here.

Hey Jackets fans...Rangers fan in peace with a quick question.

Out of the three ex Ranger forwards which one do you guys think has the most value to your team?
Vinny, Dubi or Arty?

Rangers board fought all the time on who had more worth, better player, more upside etc. Would love to hear other voices in a different setting on how they fit in.

That's a tough one Lion.

Dubi if I had to take one right now. Artie does have the best hands, he and Vinny both have 4-2 for 6 points. Dubi finally had his first the other night 1-6 7 points. Dubi is out in all situations and doesn't back down to anybody. Artie has great speed and I like his game as well. But Dubi it is.
