Today, STH just recieved an offer of up to 4 free tickets to see either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Lake Erie Monsters on select nights. It's getting so bad they are giving away tickets to see other professional sports teams to keep STH interested!

Probably speak more to the state of the other franchises as to us, but yeah, amusing. Cross promotion obviously isn't unusual.
I might take them up on the Cavs, it's been a long time since I saw them play. It was still Gund Arena.
That Nashville win is the one and only highlight of this season.
But it was a great highlight. And one I still get to use when I need to poke back.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Perhaps a thawing in relations between CBJ and Gilbert?
Why do I say that? Because I am at the Firehouse today, and most of their wins have come on the nights that I had to sell my tickets because I am on duty.
The last win that I have been at the arena for was the SO win over the Canucks on Dec. 13th.

Not the first time they have done this. They have also done ticket deals with the Reds and Indians.
Natalie just said, " This is the 3rd time these two teams meet, with Columbus getting the best of the Blue Jackets both times." I swear I pick out something every time there's a broadcast.
Hey guys. Just wondering about your alternate captains situation. You guys are at home tonight and Umberger and Vermette have the "A"s correct? I noticed both of those guys were wearing them in the last few games too, which were on the road.
The Jackets' site lists Carter, Dorsett, Prospal, Umberger, and Wisniewski as alternates. How does your rotation work? Who are the home alternates and who are the away ones? The season started with Vermette, Umberger, Carter, and Wisniewski wearing them but I saw Dorsett got one a few weeks ago (said to be permanent and not just an injury fill-in). I'm not sure about Prospal and according to the site Vermette doesn't have one anymore but he's still wearing one tonight. Could you guys fill me in about who your alternates are and when? I know things must be crazy this year so far with Carter and Wisniewski both in and out of the lineup due to injuries and the suspension so it might be hard to give me a definite answer, but I was just wondering for right now, today, injuries considered, who the alternates are.
