vote given, I really couldn't believe that socal is up against the "#1 seed," which was pretty dumb imo.

Wait I thought the Star Wars one was nominated? Did I miss something?

I like the South Park one even better personally... so right on!

Most of the votes in those polls are and will be homer based, the quality and talent of guys like Markus, Slocal, SactoShark, Nighthock, AstroDan, Sonticus, and Mafoofoo (paper ain't cheap ) is only matched by maybe a couple of other GDT makers in all the boards.

Great job all of you!

Done.

That Minnesota GDT was mildly funny I guess, but just about any given Sharks GDT is better.

Gopher's thread is hilarious, and was when it happened. But, all the Sharks threads have way more care and effort put into them, and really the body of work trumps it all. Was the one nominated your favorite all time Slocal? I keep thinking there are ones from past years that are better, but I can never remember specifics...

Habs fan coming in peace. I'd hope that this... Waffle Cup won't cause too much animosity between the two teams.

You guys actually wished that I'd put one of Markus and SactoShark alongside the Eastern posters?

Even if it meant going up against Moen in Glory and Law, seeded #1 and #2 in the East, I'm not sure at all that you could have gotten a Sharks-Sharks final. The Habs and the Islanders would have given you a tough run through the Eastern brackets.

I still think this should have been a competition amongst the team forums. I even voted in round one to make sure Markus got in, but somehow he wasn't given the go (limiting the number of Sharks fans?). It's not fair having to pick single GDT from our board to go against the others. Then again, they'd stand no chance against all of us
Maybe at the end of the season... or, better still, you hold a tournament amongst the team forums.

Waffles, tasty waffles. But the Habs are going to be your biggest challenge, bigger than the Wild, who breezed unchallenged through the playoffs until now.

But, if you lose, there's always next year.

The Wild earned more votes in rounds 1 and 2, thus the Wild being the #1 seed.

Some serious Rory action going on for the Wild:

GopherState (Minnesota Wild) 253 64.38%
Slocal (San Jose Sharks) 140 35.62%

Vote for Slocal! He'd vote for you.

Something is messed up with the poll. It only lists about 40 of the names of the votes for the Wild. I call chicanery.
