Well, even if we lose tonight, I can be at least pretty happy. Great to see Fransie locked up.

Good for Franzie. Not a bad deal money-wise. I would have preferred only 3 years with all the young centers in our system, but glad to see him re-signed.

he made a commitment to the team for VERY little money, they make a commitment in return to him. good deal on both ends.

Good see to Frans signed. He deserves a contract extension.

I think he could have gotten more in free agency. A lot of teams need center depth and he's a great #2/3 center for any team to have. It's nice that he's signed to a little discount.

Not a bad deal, I am very concerned though with the fact that we are bringing back Tavares-Nielsen-Bailey down the middle next year.

Very happy about this. He clearly wanted to stay and could've gotten 3-4 on the market. I expect PA to be traded hopefully for an upgrade on D.

Call me crazy, but I think Bailey can insert himself into the 2nd line. Been playing really well lately, and I think he can fair well playing on the 2nd line, with Frans on the 3rd, and maybe Cizikas on the 4th.

Happy with the deal, good cap friendly deal for probably below 7/1 value . Converting either Franz or Bailey into a full time wing is a must and should start now with the season long lost

Fair deal, now make sure that he is the third line center and not the second!

Agreed, I think Bailey is the more logical choice, bigger player, less defensively responsible and legit offensive skills. Maybe giving him less responsibility would lead to some production.

But me thinks that's at least 2 years away.

Good signing. The only way we can get decent young veterans is to sign our own expiring contracts.

PA up next.

very happy about this. i like franny alot. now if theyd only move bailey to wing and bring another center. hopefully this means strome will be given some to develop.
