The most over looked stat..
...and to lead the league in fighting majors(42) is huge,IMO...By tonights end,44 fights. 4 against the flyers the other night and 2 tonight against the Debbies right off the face off tonight.
Being the RANGERS are playing great.Among the top in the league Offensively,defensively,toughness,hitting etc.. Is what makes this stat even more impressive.This is a complete club. Minus a piece or two,there fantastic all around and will not be stepped on and prove it game in and out.
Its been a very very long time that I have seen a NYR team with this much heart,grit,toughness and determination.They play disciplined and focused and will not be walked all over,like way too many NYR teams in the past.
I am not comparing this club to the 94 team,but I D K what it is,but this team is different,special....Homegrown,good trades and good signings and good coaching have built a fantastic club.
