right now we would get pummeled by Kansas City

Hard to imagine it wasn't even that long ago when we were above 500.

I'm in a keeper league and for most of the season I've known that my 3 keepers would be Strasburg, Tulo, and Pedroia. Dustin's had an okay season, nothing spectacular and Boston's team is blowing up. Should I look to deal him or keep him considering 2B is hard to fill.

Not sure if he is really worth keeping TBH, who else do you have in mind?

My current team looks like this:

C: Yadier Molina
1B: Mark Teixeira
2B: Dustin Pedroia
3B: Ryan Zimmerman
SS: Alcedes Escobar
OF: Ichiro Suzuki
OF: Austin Jackson
OF: Alex Rios
UTI: Ryan Howard
DL: Troy Tulowitzki

No other pitchers other than Stras are worth keeping on my team.

I was contemplating Zimmerman, mostly due to how shallow the position is, but 2b is even shallower than that. Austin Jackson is a potential stat stuffer. Young, and hitting infront of Miggy and Fielder for the next 5-6 years should pound the runs stat. Then again the outfield is the easiest position to fill most years. Tough call, but I'd go for one of Pedroia or Jackson.

Not to rub it in, but a fantastic week for me offensively. Although only 3 SB, 10 HR, .4158 HR, 47 R, 47 RBI. Pitching was alright. Gained 6 points this period and went from 3rd to 1st. I'm close to passing people in about four categories. Another good week would help me immensely.

In two leauges I was dead last around the june/july mark. Now I'm 2nd in one, and 4th in the other. Another reason why you should never give up in fantasy sports even if it looks like a lost cause.

Same thing with me with my one pool. I was 2nd last or last around June then I took off. I am now 3rd and very close to 2nd. I doubt I will finish first though as the guy has a 12 point lead.

Had the best record in the league and got a BYE in one of my leagues.

The other league this is the final week and I'm 2 GB (categories) in my division. I need to win it to make the playoffs.

Hey Ive only rarely done H2H and haven't at all since 2009. I took over a team who was way in last and finished 10th at the end of the regular season. My question is, do they reseed in the playoffs or have set matchups? For example, the 12th seed should knock off the 9th seed, while Im ahead in my matchup, 7th and 8th seeds get a bye. Would the 7th now face the 12th seed, as the worst who advances plays the best (like in the NHL) or, since he is the guy by my name in the brackets, do I get to face him?

The reason I ask is the 7th seed has Strasburg. So if I get by next week with another win (which is likely, my hitting is extremely good and Im getting Tulo and Lawrie back) and he likely wins (looking at the teams), I will get to face him. Strasburg's last start is likely on the 12th. That is a huge blow to his team and might get me all the way to come back and finish 7th

I got the feeling they don't reseed though

EDIT: Nevermind, I see it's up to each league and this league says "no". That sucks. Ah well.

Apparently the Nats already shut down Strasburg after his rough start last night, not good for me in my h2h league, however, I might not be making it to next week anyways

Also made it to the playoffs in this random $100 Yahoo league I joined. It's pretty ridiculous though, it's 12 teams $100 each and Yahoo takes a $300 cut. Doesn't that seem a little steep?

Every year I dominate regular season, get the bye then lose in semis. This year was no different.

It's dumb. Head to head sucks. In the my friends hockey pool last year I couldn't do the draft and didn't have time to pre rank my players. As a result, I barely paid attention and my team sucked at the start. Squeked into the playoffs my one point. I started paying attention and won the pool. The guy I beat had a lot of injuries too at the end of the year.

Head-to-Head can be a pain, but it's so much more fun than Rotis.

I get way more excited for games each day but ya, playoffs can be unfair. Like this year if you had Bautista and Strasburg, good luck.
