Only thing I don't like about your team is the lack of pitching depth. That said you do have 2 of the best starters, just not a whole lot afterwards. Great infield. Pujols, Cano, Castro and Freese.

Good team. Built a lot like mine with Perez, Pujols, Cueto and Hellickson. Only problem I see you having is potentially having serious injury problems in your OF. Beltran and Gardner could completely break down at any given time, I'd definitely look for strong back ups.

I don't like it but that's just me. Great starting pitching. Don't really understand Soriano/ Stubbs.. In my 12 team league keeper, both are in the FA..

I waited on OF and it seems like every time I went to pick someone he went the pick right before mine.

I can understand Stubbs (he's just a bench player, spot starting if I need steals) but Soriano will likely hit 25-30 home runs with a 250 average or so. That's not bad.

I'm not in love with the hitting but some good arms. How many teams are in it?

Not bad for a 14 team league. OF is pretty strong and Verly-Hamels as a 1-2 punch is good

Managed to leave $11 on the table for my AL Only auction. Probably not the most egregious error, but probably missed out on a solid player as a result.

C: John Jaso ($1) - Was targeting him as my 2nd catcher. Unfortunately he's my top guy as I got outbid on Alex Avila (sold for $10).

C: Chris Iannetta ($1) - Not many options left at the tail end of the draft. Maybe could have gone for Saltalamacchia ($3).

1B: Kevin Youkilis ($6) - Initially got him as my utility player, but I badly misjudged the 1B market. I bailed on Brandon Moss ($10) and figured I could get Kendrys Morales for about the same price. But Morales went for $15 which I couldn't afford. Our league has custom rules where a player has to play 20% of his games at the position to maintain eligibility. So Youk might lose 1B after our first month grace period.

The guy that ended up with Moss is willing to deal him for speed. I suggested trading Brett Gardner to him, but I'm also hurting for SBs as well.

2B: Emilio Bonifacio ($6) - Happy to get a cheap source of steals here.

SS: Derek Jeter ($11) - In retrospect, a pretty risky buy. Could have gone cheap (Yunel Escobar/Jed Lowrie still available in our upcoming reserve draft).

MI: Jurickson Profar ($1) - Late draft speculation pick. I can keep Profar for $8 next year.

3B: Miguel Cabrera ($43) - Kept him at this price......probably a few bucks more than market value.

CI: Manny Machado ($8) - Hopefully doesn't have a sophomore slump.

OF: Josh Hamilton ($28) - Originally slotted $20 for my top OF but ended up with Hamilton.

OF: Alex Rios ($15) - Keeper from last season. Not particularly confident that he can repeat last year.

OF: Brett Gardner ($13) - Debating trading him for Brandon Moss, but steals might be more valuable. Could conceivably pick up Brett Wallace or Juan Rivera as a warm body replacement at 1B instead.

OF: Curtis Granderson ($11) - Out until mid-May.

OF: Andy Dirks ($2) - Wasn't aiming for him, but I tossed in an obligatory $2 bid and got stuck with him. But for $2, it can't be that bad.

UT: Chris Young ($1) - Was kinda shocked that I got him for $1. Never going to hit for average, but the 20/20 potential is still there.

DH: Victor Martinez ($11) - More than likely won't gain catcher eligibility in our league. But he's still useful as a DH.

----------------

SP: David Price ($29) - Probably the most I've spent on a pitcher in the 7 years I've been doing this league.

SP: Josh Johnson ($12) - I threw out Johnson for $12 and nobody bid me up. Mildly shocked, but he's an annual injury concern. Our league also has a caveat where you have to drop the guy if he gets traded to the NL. Johnson is a potential free agent, but I imagine Toronto will be in contention.

SP: Anibal Sanchez ($12) - He went in the late portion of the auction. I basically used the money I had allocated for Kendrys Morales here.

SP: Jake Peavy ($10) - Got him early in the draft. Could be a bargain if his arm holds up.

SP: Tommy Milone ($5) - Irrational "he went to my high school" pick.

SP: Tommy Hanson ($1) - Thought somebody would bid me up on Hanson. Not expecting much.

RP: Addison Reed ($12) - Will need to handcuff him in the reserve draft.

RP: Greg Holland ($9) - Hopefully can maintain the closer role.

RP: Sergio Santos ($1) - The $1 late draft potential closer if there's an injury pick.

------------------

Overall, feels like the best pitching staff I've had in years. Normally I'd skimp on pitching and spend on hitting. Then I'd patch up the pitching staff along the way.

Thanks. Yeah, love how my outfield shaped up, and I like the look of my IF as well. I am a Met fan, but I love Freddie Freeman. Expecting a big year from him.

Not entirely happy with my team.

12-team Mixed Rotisserie Style League. We use OBP and not AVG. $260 budget. Keepers. I never go after saves.

C - Yadier Molina ($7) - I had him at $4 last year and kept him for $7 this year. Will also have him next year at $12
1B - Billy Butler ($19)
2B - Ian Kinsler ($31)
3B - Trevor Plouffe ($2)
SS - Jhonny Peralta ($1)
CI - Matt Carpenter ($3)
MI - Starlin Castro ($17)
OF - Carlos Beltran ($14) - Overpaid here
OF - Angel Pagan ($6)
OF - Jayson Werth ($6)
OF - Josh Reddick ($6)
Util - Wilin Rosario ($8) - I think I got great value here
Util - AJ Pierzynski ($2) - I think I got good value here, if not, I drop him in a little bit.
BN - Corey Hart ($7) - Should replace either Carpenter/Plouffe/Pierzynski when healthy
BN - Hanley Ramirez ($17) - Overpaid slightly because he's hurt, but I think he rebounds. The potential for this to pay off is worth the price. Should replace Peralta
BN - Manny Machado ($2) - Hope he has a good year, can fill in.

SP - Justin Verlander ($37)
SP - Felix Hernandez ($29)
SP - CC Sabathia ($21)
SP - Mike Minor ($5)
SP - Tommy Milone ($4)
P - AJ Griffin ($1)
P - Jason Hammel ($1)
P - Dan Straily ($1)
P - Ricky Nolasco ($1)
P - Jake Westbrook ($1)
BN - Danny Hultzen ($1) - will probably keep him for next year

2B: Kinsler
3B: Sandoval
SS: Castro
OF: Harper
OF: Jennings
OF: Melky
Util: Reddick
Util: Machado
B: Pagan
B: Fowler
B: Cozart

SP: Gio
SP: Cueto
SP: J. Johnson

My question is, do I hold onto Straily even though it looks as he won't make the rotation?

Pretty much a noob when it comes to fantasy baseball, so I need some advice. I can keep 3 players, Verlander is one of them. For the other 2 I'm deciding between Bautista, Heyward, Adam Jones, and Cole Hamels.

Who should I keep? 10 teams, the stat categories are a bit expanded, but pretty standard.

If you can continue to keep them beyond this year I'd keep Heyward and Hamels.

If it's for one year only I'd keep Hamels and Bautista.
