Yikes, not the greatest. Michael Young as your starting 2nd baseman? He's not even good enough to start in real baseball, nevermind fantasy baseball.

Is he not the starting 3B or do you think that Frandsen would soon pass him and be the starter and then Young would just play backup to all the infield positions

My point is that he sucks. He is a black hole offensively. He won't put up any worthwhile stats and should have gone undrafted.

Not bad. Always a gamble when you take Tulo but if he's healthy its going to pay off. I also can't help but feel you may have missed the boat on some starting pitching when you were drafting. I would surmise there was a run on pitching that you missed out on with Hamels as your ace and then a pretty big drop off.

Thanks. Yeah I don't mind taking a gamble on a guy like Tulo just because if he does stay relatively healthy he's a big advantage at SS over everyone else. I did miss the boat on some pitchers I wanted but I am pretty high on Parker and Niese this year, especially Parker.

Yup. I had him. This guy wanted me to deal Espinosa and Anibal Sanchez for Kinsler... I counter with Young, Espinosa and Anibal for Minor and Kinsler and he accepted

I just finished my draft. Like you I missed a a run on pitching and I hope your hunch on Parker is right because I'm riding it too!

Here is my team.

I drafted 10th in a 10 man draft.

C: Joe Mauer
1B: Freddie Freeman
2B: Ben Zobrist
3B: Adrian Beltre
SS: Martin Prado
OF: Carlos Gonzalez
OF: Adam Jones
OF: Alex Gordon
UT: Lance Berkman
BN: Nelson Cruz
BN: Alicedes Escobar
BN: AJ Pierzynski
BN: Jon Jay
BN: Omar Infante
BN: Cody Ross (last pick of draft)

SP: Johnny Cueto
SP: Roy Halladay
SP: Homer Bailey
SP: Ryan Vogelsong
RP: Fernando Rodney
RP: Joe Nathan
BN: Grant Balfour
BN: Jarrod Parker
BN: Josh Beckett
BN: Bruce Rondon

This is a H2H league. The scoring is a little weird too, more for the hitters though.

Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Stolen Bases (SB), Fielding Percentage (FPCT), Batting Average (AVG), Extra Base Hits (XBH)

Wins (W), Losses (L), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

I'm really pissed about my rotation. I'm banking on Halladay having a huge comeback season.

Here is my team in a 10 team rotisserie league. K= Keeper and YK = Youth Keeper (350 GP or IP - had both those guys last year too).

R, HR, RBI, Strikeouts, AVG, OBP, SB
W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP

I traded my second rounder this year pre-draft for Bautista (dropped Kinsler as a keeper) and I traded my first rounder mid-season last year and it helped me win the pool so it was worth it. But I didn't pick until last in the third round this year because of that, so...

C - Victor Martinez
1B - Adrian Gonzalez (K)
2B - Kyle Seager
3B - David Freese
SS - Asdrubal Cabrera
IF - Buster Posey (YK)
OF - Jose Bautista (K)
OF - Andrew McCutchen (K)
OF - Carlos Gomez
UTIL - Michael Morse
BN - Everth Cabrera

SP - Stephen Strasburg (YK)
SP - Johnny Cueto
SP - Anibal Sanchez
P - Lance Lynn
P - Matt Garza
RP - Kenley Jansen
RP - Joel Hanrahan
BN - Joel Peralta
BN - Eric O'Flaherty
BN - Tyler Clippard
BN - Bobby Parnell (dropped Bruce Rondon for him today)

I'm currently trying to acquire Kris Medlen to shore up my SP from a guy who is desperate for relievers. Trying to involve Clippard as I have way too many Holds guys.

3b - Miguel Cabrera
SS - Jimmy Rollins
LF - Mark Trumbo
CF - Carlos Beltran
RF - Hunter Pence

Util - Andre Ethier - RF
Util - Jason Kubel - LF

SP - Jered Weaver
SP - Gio Gonzalez
SP - Chris Sale
SP - Matt Harrison
SP - Ryan Vogelsong
SP - Tim Hudson
SP - JA Happ
RP - Fernando Rodney
RP - Chris Perez

Just had a draft, 12 team H2H league..we made it into a keeper league last season and I kept Heyward. I've been in this league for 6 years.

C - S. Perez
1B - Laroche
2B - Kinsler
3B - Longoria
SS - Zobrist
OF - Trout
OF - Heyward
OF - A Gordon
Util - Gardner
Bench - Morneau
Bench - Youkilis

SP - Sabathia
SP - Shields
SP - Peavy
SP - Burnett
SP - Hammel
SP - S. Miller
RP - Putz
RP - Perez

Weakest part of my team is probably my starting pitching I would say..but I don't think CC/Shields/Peavy is a bad top 3 as long as Peavy repeats. Burnett was good last season and I like him in the NL, Hammel will be good if he stays healthy IMO and Miller could win the NL ROY since he won the 5th starting position. I have Youkilis to replace Longoria if he gets injured, and I could see Morneau bouncing back to his old-self now that he is past his concussion. I will probably end up using him a lot over Gardner since I have some good speed in the lineup.

I only lost an 8th round pick to keep Heyward this year since I drafted him in the 10th last season, so that helped a lot...some teams didn't have a great keeper to pick.

I think it's a good team for a 12 team league, thoughts?

Had my keeper league auction draft last week, had to auto draft which is essentially impossible to do in an Auction draft. I set up auto bids for Verlander, Strasburg, Kershaw, Lawrie, Stanton and Price. Never got Lawrie but got the other 5, plus Hamilton. But obviously no depth and no way to compete this year.

So realizing it might be overpayment but didnt care I delt Verlander and Hamilton for Trout. My keepers are Trout, Stanton, Price, Kershaw and Strasburg

In a dynasty league, got offered Howard, Longoria, JUP and Cueto for Harper, Goldschmidt, Scherzer and Seager. I want to jump on it and accept it, but letting go of Harper in a dynasty league is tough to do.

I don't think I'd do it.

Howard<Goldy - Especially in a dynasty
JUP<Harper - Especialy in a dynasty
Cueto>Scherzer - Not by much, pretty close
Longoria>>Seager - The only clear upgrade for you. But with Longo's injury problems..

It's not that bad for you, but you could look really bad if at the end of the year Harper wins MVP, Goldy keeps improving and smacks 30hr, and Longoria spends half the year on the DL. All very possible.

If Harper is going anywhere outside of the first round it's an absolute steal. He's my prediction for MVP. I picked him at 8th in my dynasty league this year.
