never would have guessed i'd have something like this to complain about

I was down by 1 in my head to head league in wins after all my pitchers had finished for the week

then my first baseman Chris Davis actually got a win but Yahoo isn't counting it so looks like no tie for me

Rough night for Davis.. Despite getting the win (wtf? ) he was 0-8 with FIVE strike-outs.

Why would they count it? When pitchers hit homeruns they don't

I guess that makes sense just annoyed me is all

it ended up not mattering anyways(Cole Hamels who they had got a win afterwords so they ended up winning that by 2)

so last night I dreamed that David Robertson got a serious foot injury, woke up worried about my closers

I was offered for:

Aramis Ramirez + Shaun Marcum
FOR
Ryan Zimmerman

Thoughts?

I'm leaning heavily towards no. I don't have that grade a need for more pitching (weekly lineup) with my starters currently: Verlander, CC, Romero, Masterson, Dempster, Kuroda, Floyd, and Carpenter on the DL. So the downgrade at 3rd probably isn't worth it.

The nice thing about Aram is that he bats in between Braun and Hart so he SHOULD get lots of rbis/runs. With that point in mind I still wouldn't accept that if I was you.

It's a fair offer. Something I'd think about depending on the need of your team. That said, this is a scenerio where I'd gladly take quality (Zimmerman) over quantity.

How does this look for me:

I send Adam Laroche, Corey Hart and Mark Buerhle

For Lance Berkman and Henry Rodriguez.

Laroche is expendable with me having Votto at first and I'm trying to upgrade my out field.

Angels released Trevor Reckling today. Pitched in the young stars game and was the the Angels' minor league pitcher of the year three years ago, and now he's pretty much done.

Ugh, the guy that I'm up against this week has Josh Hamilton. Dude is having one of the best fantasy weeks ever.

Rotisserie scoring is awful. It's nearly impossible to make up ground. My team had a really bad April, and now I can't get out of 11th despite my team really heating up now.

what a difference a couple weeks can make

now I actually have hope that my closers can be not just not really terrible but downright good in the near future

(grabbed Robertson and Reed both of which I have really high hopes for,Santos hopefully coming back in a couple weeks or so)

I think it's better like that. Rewards a whole season of doing well.

I was last a few years ago around mid May and came back to finish second.

Head to head sucks. This year in my hocey pool I squeked into the playoffs by one point. Got a few lucky SHP against the top team so I beat him. Played a guy who was on vacation and didn't set his lineup. Beat him. The my team over achieved and I won the pool.

If I want to trade Pujols, should I aim for a top 10 player return? top 25? Really not sure what to do.

Or keep him.

I'm hearing that Reed is not the closer in Chicago, they'll be going by committee for right now.

Unless you can find a sucker you'll be selling very low on Pujols. Also do you have a decent replacement 1B?

I have Trumbo and Lee as backups, i'd be looking to get a outfielder back, preferably with good power + speed numbers.

But may isn't even 2 weeks old. Head to head sucks, you can be mediocre than kill the final month of the season and win. I killed one league, easily first than 1 bad week and I lose. Never did it again.

In hockey I was 9th out of 12 at the start of February 2 seasons ago then did some deals and ended up winning. 42 points behind feb 2 when I made the changes. I love roto.
