I'm leaning heavily towards no. I don't have that grade a need for more pitching (weekly lineup) with my starters currently: Verlander, CC, Romero, Masterson, Dempster, Kuroda, Floyd, and Carpenter on the DL. So the downgrade at 3rd probably isn't worth it.

The nice thing about Aram is that he bats in between Braun and Hart so he SHOULD get lots of rbis/runs. With that point in mind I still wouldn't accept that if I was you.

It's a fair offer. Something I'd think about depending on the need of your team. That said, this is a scenerio where I'd gladly take quality (Zimmerman) over quantity.
Angels released Trevor Reckling today. Pitched in the young stars game and was the the Angels' minor league pitcher of the year three years ago, and now he's pretty much done.
Rotisserie scoring is awful. It's nearly impossible to make up ground. My team had a really bad April, and now I can't get out of 11th despite my team really heating up now.

I think it's better like that. Rewards a whole season of doing well.

I was last a few years ago around mid May and came back to finish second.
Head to head sucks. This year in my hocey pool I squeked into the playoffs by one point. Got a few lucky SHP against the top team so I beat him. Played a guy who was on vacation and didn't set his lineup. Beat him. The my team over achieved and I won the pool.

But may isn't even 2 weeks old. Head to head sucks, you can be mediocre than kill the final month of the season and win. I killed one league, easily first than 1 bad week and I lose. Never did it again.
In hockey I was 9th out of 12 at the start of February 2 seasons ago then did some deals and ended up winning. 42 points behind feb 2 when I made the changes. I love roto.
