Thanks guys, Johnson could be a good guy to look into, I really want to beef up my blueline with guys like Johnson and Komisarek maybe aswell. I mean with my current top 6 Nash does seem expendable especially considering he didnt get a point until my 5th game of the year.A game i lost too hahah.
Alright, what the heck. This has happened two times now, and it seems to be random: after I've simulated the game, and see the three stars and after that, the amount of exp three best player earned, the whole thing goes black. Not whole screen, but only the area where everything is shown. And then I can't do anything, but I still hear the sounds. It didn't happen after every game. I guess I'll have to sim to the next day, not the game. Doesn't bother me that much but I NEEDED TO QUIT TWICE AND DIDN'T SAVE ON EITHER TIME!

I'm gonna write about 2017 Trade Deadline soon, plus some details on this team and the lineup. Stay tuned.
WTF?!?!? 1 minutes, 2 broken plexiglass. first one Kopitar tackle and Chara breaks plexiglass on his faces and second one was little tackle. Wohoo 1-1 Mike Richards scores, he has play last 8 game 0+0, only a few moments ago, he pulled the pole on empty goal over. (sorry if there was writing mistakes)
Okay Why you don't play games? I think that the simulation is boring, Are you thinking to start new Be A GM on playing?
I've played a lot of it, I have a Sharks Be a GM which on I play all the games myself, right now I'm having great time turning bad teams into contenders and eventually (and hopefully) winning the Cup a few times. I've turned around like 3 teams on NHL 12 and I did the same thing on 4 teams in NHL 11.
P.S In NHL 11 I had a Sharks Be A GM also that I played every game for 4,5 seasons including playoffs and in other previous NHL games I've played a lot of hockey also.

Well I started the Sharks Be a GM around this time last year and last year in late September my PS3 got the YLOD with the NHL 11 inside it (it's still there)! So around 7 months but I played on/off, alot. And my favorite is the Sharks but I have a lot of teams I like, including Rangers, Flyers (yeah division rivals haha), Predators, Blue Jackets (also division rivals)..

Okay, I like Rangers, LA Kings and St.Louis Blues. I hate San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks. Are you gonna write something on Columbus tonight P.S we are stuffed almost whole "NHL 12 Dynasty Thread Part 3" thread on s***
I just had the post ready to be posted and then my freaking computer froze. I'll start writing a new one right away (it's not going to be as long). I'm sorry, my computer sucks..
2016-2017 Trade Deadline Day as the Columbus Blue Jackets
Details: oh boy are things getting heated up. This year, the forward and defence groups are deeper than ever. Almost every skater is having a career year, but there is one problem of late: goaltending. Starter Jacob Markström has been straight out bad of late, but at the same time, backup Craig Anderson has been on fire. I'm thinking of adding a goalie.. or not. Record: 39-22-6, fourth in West, second in Central Division (only behing the Blackhawks).
Notable trade pieces:
F Shane Prince, 23 YO, 83 OVR, A, B-, C potential
Unfortunately, because of a very deep forward group, he has been pushed down to the bottom six. I've been getting calls concerning him all year long, but mostly laughable offers.
D Andrej Meszaros/Ryan McDonagh/Dustin Byfuglien
Unlikely any d-man will move, but we'll see.
2017 1st round picks of CBJ, PHI, STL
I could get a good return if I decide to trade.
TRADES:
CAL receives: F Matt D'Agostini, F David Moss CBJ receives: F Rich Peverley
Details: the deep group of forwards just got deeper. I picked up D'Agostini off waivers earlier in the season and he spent it completely in the AHL, and Moss hasn't played at all this season (poor guy, he played here for 4 years). Hopefully they get a chance in the NHL.
My most quiet deadline ever. Only one minor move. Decided to rely on my goaltenders, Markström is always good in the playoffs, and well, if he isn't this year.. I have to rely on Anderson.
Oh. Just picked David Moss from waivers.. Welcome back!
Lines post-deadline
van Riemsdyk, 90 - Toews, 93 (C) - Skinner, 89
B. Connolly, 87 - J. Staal, 88 (A) - Mueller, 87
Prince, 83 - Stoll, 84 - Hanzal, 83
Letestu, 80 - Peverley, 83 - D. Jones, 83
If my goaltending is good (hopefully better ), I can think myself as a contender (for the last two seasons, I've made the Finals, one win, one BITTER loss).
(There might be more grammar/spelling mistakes than ever, just because I wrote this quickly!)
Comments and feedback appreciated.

So far I'm off to a great start, leading the NHL with 40 points (18-7-4) while playing a super defensive style. I've allowed only 59 goals against (2.03 per game - 1st), but am middle of the pack in goal scoring (2.76 per game - 15th).
My first line has been awesome -- Landeskog has 17 goals, O'Reilly has 28 points in only 23 games, and Downie leads the team with 21 assists and 30 points -- but the rest of my team has been terrible offensively. Stastny 15 points, Mueller 13 points, Duchene and Hejduk 11 points each. I only have three goals total from my defensemen, and all of them were scored by Jan Hejda.
Considering I just dropped three straight (one in OT), I'm probably going to make a trade soon, likely involving Matt Duchene. I simply cannot score with the dude. I definitely need a new RW to play with Stastny, and could use another defenseman; preferably an offensive minded one.
If you get Manuel Kindl in your be a gm mode then he has no head no hands and he shoots blue stuff out of where his head shoukd be. BEWARE and this is not a one time thing, in both my be a gms he has done this.
Happened to me too!
But he does get pretty good like 6 years after he's a 5th overall draft pick
(Before i edited rosters)
Giving O'Reilly top-six time would help him develop, he becomes a solid player.
Yup, but there isn't any place for him as for now. Maybe I will make some move in summer to get him to center that third line. But now I have good fourth line, because of him. It scores, but also defends.
A tip for people: every summer when free agency comes, check UFA skaters and goaltenders for high potential young guys (sometimes RFA, but only when you don't have to give picks - you might get lucky and get that player). I've signed atleast one young player every summer with potential. Sometimes they become good-to-great players, sometimes only AHL worthy players - either way, it's a low risk move with a potentially high reward.

So move where Kobasew+Stuart goes to NJ for Volchenkov can be maiden. Kobasew though is one of my best players.
Good idea to trade Kobasew and Stuart for Volchenkov, but New Jersey doesn't give up very easy, I had to offer a package like this, before they accepted: M.Greene (84), R.Scuderi (82), 2nd pick, 2nd pick <-> A.Volchenkov (85 now 87). I was thinking that next season's first line defense could be K.Letang and A.Volchenkov.
My "dream team" to next season (** = contract extension, "" = New player)
1st line
Heatley - Kopitar - "Grigorenko/Yakupov"
"Letang" - "Volchenkov"
2nd line
"van Riemsdyk" - Richards - "Granlund"
"Schenn" - Johnson
3rd line
*O'Reilly* - *Nielsen* - "Clutterbuck"
*Carkner* - *Voynov*
4th line
Clifford - "Betts" - *Westgarth*
Goalkeepers
1. Quick
2. *Endras*/*Bishop*
13.Forward: ?
7.Defender: *Petry*
This is another option
1st line
Heatley - Kopitar - "Grigorenko/Yakupov"
"Letang" - "Volchenkov"
2nd line
Bouchard - Kesler/Duchene - "Granlund"
"Schenn" - Johnson
3rd line
*Sullivan* - *O'Reilly* - "Clutterbuck"
*Carkner* - *Voynov*
