A lot of Oiler fans would like to keep Sutton, but I figure they're better off getting something for him if they can. He's not getting any younger, and the Oilers have lots of bodies on defense, which is only going to be more congested next year if they end up making the much needed move to add a top 4 guy in the offseason.

If Sutton can get you a 2nd, a 3rd, or a prospect, I think you've got to take it.

Having Burish back would certainly help the locker room. Might help having him chirping on the ice again.

Sutton I don't really want any part of. He's the last UFA defenseman I had my sights on.

I think the point would be Scott out, Sutton in, which would IMO help the lineup a lot (aside from when he's inevitably suspended for his next dangerous hit).

Obviously, I've wanted Sutton and made trade props for him. Burish? Great move, brings some swagger back and PK and bottom 6 need help .

Sutton + 5th for 2nd?

How's Chicago on the Cap, any chance they want to do a big offer sheet in the off season and keep their picks?

Would the Hawks prefer Grossman to Sutton?

How about a package from Dallas?

Grossman and Burish

for

Frolik and a draft pick (conditional on maybe Gross resigning or how far the hawks go)

I think Grossman would be great for the hawks. Hes a big bodied strong defenseman worthy of 2nd pair minutes/match ups. not a lot of offense but that isnt a worry for chicago, importantly he strenghtens up the area around crawford crease. He doesnt lose many physical battles.

I'd love for the Rangers to trade for Burish. Zuccarello+5th?

Getting Burish back would be outstanding. I think the Hawks should go after Kubina.

I've always wanted to see Sutton play for the Blackhawks. Hope he ends up there.

Please God no more Burish. Sutton would be fine, especially if Montador is really hurt.

In my humble opinion Grossman and Burish would be exactly what the doctor ordered for the Hawks. Bring in some grit and some of the trash talk back with Burish.

Montador's improving. Doesn't sound serious.

I want Burish back. Love that crazy *******. Sutton would also be good. 2C and we'd be ready to roll. And by roll I mean finish 8th and lose to Detroit in a highly competitive and poorly reffed first round.

Burish would be a good pickup for the Hawks. Miss a guy like him

Bickell or 6th - or both

not a fan of Sutton. Include Grossman and Frolik too

Pass Neither guy brings enough to make the Hawks a better team.In fact, both take stupid penalties and that equals goals against for Chicago and probably less wins instead of more.

I'd definitely do Burish for Frolik.

I'd do Burish + Grossman for Frolik + a pick (2nd?) also.

If we give up Burish and Grossman then the draft pick better be a 1st.

Hard to look at a guy who's been scratched the past few games. Kinda weird, though... he's been playing a lot better since the all star break.

Grossman is worth more than a 3rd round pick...jesus!
