Primary Target

Anze Kopitar, an underrated center from Slovenia, a country you probably can't locate without looking it up. Kopitar is quietly keeping LA afloat, along with the strong goaltending of Quick.

Red Hot Cat Of The Night

Mikael Samuelsson has 5 points in his last 5 games.

I was responding in the other thread, but it closed.

Either way, leftwinglock.com is a reliable site and they have Clemmer already confirmed for tomorrow night. http://www.leftwinglock.com/starting...s/tomorrow.php

Theodore is probably dressing because he's ready to play, but they're being cautious with it. Especially since we have a B2B this weekend. I would imagine the ideal scenario would be for him to backup tomorrow night, and then play one of the games in the weekend/move on from there.

Kopecky and Bergenheim. It was a fun game that we probably should've won, but Jonathan Quick played well (no surprise there, probably the most underrated goalie in the league). Gonna be tough trying to score tomorrow night (as it is most nights anyway, regardless of the opposing goalie...)

And Richards wouldn't dare try that.

these two team drew up some bad blood out in LA earlier in the season. Hoping for some new blood is drawn and a win.

I remember the game in LA being almost like a playoff game where we deserved to get the win, but came up short. The same effort needs to be there again against a team that is having a mediocre season very similar to ours. The top line is going to have to really shine in this one and if Clemmensen is starting, he's going to have to show us one of those amazing outings as he's done a few times this season.

to stur the pot a bit i encourage everyone to read matthew barry (Hockeybuzz blogger for LA Kings) latest piece that defends mike richards as harmless and argues that if the kings were really a team they would take out bergenheim tomorrow night.

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Matth...heim/125/42003

Barry fails to mention the fact that bergenheim took out that ***** called richards in the first place. Thats because Mike Richards nearly killed, yes killed a former panther: David Booth.

Perhaps barry needs to learn a little something about payback. It's a *****.

Moreover it was a good clean hit. How ironic it would be from filthy Richards to retaliate a clean hit.

Can't wait for this game! I'll be in sec. 131 tonight.

After their performance last time out, tonight should be a good one.

Random guess at the final.

5-2 Cats
Weiss x 2

GR's blog made it seem like our last loss = the first time ever that Clemmensen lost B2B games in regulation in his career.

That can't be true, right?

We can only hope. And thanks!

I've been wearing a "JovoCop" personalized shirt to the games, but my new Panthers jersey came in today. It's an old, red Starter jersey, but I like it.

I'll definitely be rocking it at the game tonight!

I didn't realize how big of a game this could be depending on the result. If we lose in regulation and the Sens win, according to sportsclubstats.com, our percentage at a current 68% would go down to 59%. That would be the lowest since November. Dammit, we better freaking win this one!

How about we win this one? AND THE NEXT ONE?...AND THE NEXT ONE?...AND THE NEXT ONE? ETC., ETC., ETC.

I'm tired of the mediocrity. Find a way to go on a winning streak at a very important time in the season. The last time we had a 4-game winning streak was an eternity ago.

I'm tired of the 6 in 5 thing, sorry. If the Devils can go on a winning streak against the elite of the league when they were expected to falter, why can't we go on one?

It's becoming rather annoying. The way the conference is shaping up, the league is basically saying "here, this is your great opportunity!" and our players are playing like "hmmm...maybe. 6 in 5, eh?" NO! It's time for some separation. These are playoff games already. Now. Let's show we're not mediocre for a change. No excuses, we're fairly healthy. Kulikov is the only really big injury, and the guys who have filled in are doing alright. They're not the problem right now. Where are our best players? Time to step up!
