Detroit's home record is so impressive that the away record is getting overlooked. They're 15-15-1 on the road, which isn't very good. If we could win our home games and somehow beat them in Detroit maybe we can squeek past in 7.
So what are the lines right now (is Pyatt injured?)?
What players/prosepcts are tradeable to upgrade the offense?
IMO FWIW and all those other meaningless acronyms, we only have Dmen to give up. We have two great second lines and very good third and forth lines. We need fist line players, and they don't come around that often. Unless we can get a Nash, Carter, or one of those ilk, I say don't trade for anothe second line player. We have enough already. Better to stand pat.
Not a good night so far. chicago with two points. san jose managing a point. minnesota on pace to get at least a point. i hope dallas wins in regulation at least. everything will look a lot better if we can get a win

Your wish has been granted. How about that?!!!! And what a win it was...
Games of importance today and those in bolded who we need to win to not only help us stay in the playoffs but also avoid Detroit *** ***** in the 1st round.
Carolina vs San Jose I can only hope SJ is held to 1 point in this game to make up for them not losing in regulation to Tampa. Oh well!!! Edmonton vs Colorado Could go either way. Detroit vs Nashville The more likely of those 3 to happen today.
Carolina helped by beating the Sharks tonight. The Ducks managed to send it to OT in Jersey. Gretzlaf scores in OT but it was ruled he kicked it in. Ducks lose in SO. Let's go Edmonton.
Shocking how a team with that much offensive talent is not getting it done for the Kings.
Just goes to show how important is it to have chemistry and what heppens when you don't have it despite how much talent is on the team.
I was hoping for an LA win in regulation. I know it doesn't mean much, but it would have meant we were 4 points up on 9th place instead of 2 up on both 8th and 9th. Oh well, we got our 2 points, so it's all moot at this point.
Sharks play the Death Eaters tomorrow morning. I'll be watching, and rooting for the Death Eaters. I hope the Sharks don't get any points tomorrow!

I wonder if this will up the pressure on management to go after Rick Nash. I'm not convinced that will fix their problems but it may satiate their frustrated fan base.
