Do you miss the days of Colton Orr and Rosehill?

Those were the days, back when this team was tough. Orr played 5 games this year and then got sent down and then injured. Rosehill is still up but has only played 16 games.

Doesn't mean much if being "tough" equals having a useless 4th line that can't contribute.

I could also see Rosehill being sent down as well.

For the record Rosehill is on the first 1-way deal of his career:
1-year 600k

Orr, also on a 1-way of course, has the rest of this year and next at 1 million per, which is nothing considering Leafs revenue but it sucks he'll never be back on the team.

You mean like right now?

Also in 5 games this year Orr had a goal and a fight.

Dupuis and 0 points and was a waste of space.

I miss them about as much as I miss Hollweg.
AHL is where they belong.

No I don't. I don't dislike them but I'm enjoying this brand of hockey.

Yeah, those were the days the team was losing. At least this 4th line can take a regular shift.

...Oh right, those guys!!!

I'd love the team to have a bit more grit amongst the speed and skill, but they clearly don't need it at this point.

We'll see once we all get used to having played a playoff series.

We don't even know what the guys we have can bring in that circumstance though.

But no I don't miss staged fights at all and I don't think many do.

People seriously need to learn the hockey definition of "tough".

Grabovski is the toughest player on this team.

Brown can take guys to task and can actually play.

Love Orr, but his role has become extinct.

Rosehill is AHL talent. A bit more skill than Orr, but not much.

While I do agree with your assessment of Grabovski as a tough player, I think the hockey definition of tough will always remain subject to more "grit."

It just irks me. Fighting =/= toughness/grittiness or whatever you want to call it.

Also, OP: both Orr and Rosehill were more useless to this team than a paper coat is in a hurricane. Both were good for 3 minutes, a few terribly placed minor penalties a night.

Orr played 5 minutes a game, and Rosehill a little more. He's still with the Leafs at least

Love tough players who can take regular shifts. Orr and Rosehill don't qualify for that.
