Schenn is extremely expendable.

Leafs depth, is defensive d-men, they've been trying to get Holzer in the line-up for months.

If you can't trade a 16 minute a night defensive d-man who the heck is expendable?

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

But yeah no chance we trade for JVR while he's got a concussion, not that I didn't have doubts about it from the start. Really it'd take something serious if Burke was going to give up on Schenn.

yeah, just seems like philly is always gonna get the schenn brothers. I agree to get schenn from us they would have to pay a premium.

I think Couturier for Schenn would be a steal for us. Plus Sean could develop into exactly the type of player Burke is looking for.

schenn is only 22 and can turn in to a beast a couple of years from now. we've been developing him for a long time. it would be a waste if all that development comes to fruition else where.

But, like i said, they would have to pay the premium in this deal of reunification if at all happens.

thats the only player he will trade for with philly, thats why it might go down to the wire, feb 27, or no trade

They can revisit as much as they want.

Want Schenn? Hand over Couturier +.

Yes, I wouldn't do a straight up move.

Couturier one-on-one for L. Schenn I would do, or Colborne + Blacker for B. Schenn.

Schenn isn't going anywhere. They can re-visit as much as they like.

How about Kadri and Gunnarsson/Aulie for B. Schenn?

the thread title is horribly misleading
i read the entire thread looking where it said the flyers were revisiting the schenn deal only to find that it was not there...

It's possible, but I'd think they are looking for a top defensive defense man to replace Pronger, so they'd rather take 1 bigger name than dilute it with a 2 for 1. I'm also not sure I want to upgrade Kadri a little bit with Gunnar or Aulie

if i was another team trying to take advantage of leafs D depth, I'd be making the call to acquire Aulie. I love the kid and it doesn't look like he'll get a chance here anytime soon

Instead of giving up Schenn why not we get the other Schenn?

Kadri + Aulie/Kolzer + 2nd.

PLEASE give us Luke Schenn already. You read the article Leaf fans. If you don't want Luke looking over his shoulder all the time, and stressing about his kid brother, you will do everyone a favour and trade him for JVR. Saskatoonians stick together.
