Really? Are they doing it on purpose not to attract more fans to the stadium in Toronto? Unless they have a day off today that i'm not aware of...

From rds.ca

you will never get a fair shot, you have to force them to give you one.
That eing said, last year second QB didn't do really well last game I think he could lose his spot.

McPheerson been struggeling. Dissapointing. I was actually hoping for him to be our starter this year (Supposing AC would not be back)..
I am scared that the ALS might actually release him and put Neiswander in 2nd string
EDIT: With that Series, McPheerson could of have saved his ass. Great
Adrian picked up his game. So happy. Do what your good at, Scramble! Don't be a pocket passer, it ruins him IMO.

17-10 Als at the half. I was thinking the same thing about Adrian struggling. Still a little rusty I guess, doesn't get to play much anyways, not this year.

Oh well, that fizzled out. Starters look ready to go though. Should be a good season barring injuries.

Kyle Quinlan completes his first pass for 41 yards, not bad!

Any surprised cuts so far for the experts? How about that Travon Patterson, wasn't he doing good at camp? Is Nieswander the QB of the future?

I think it was in between Patterson & Deslaurier. Deslaurier with his new number looks like a true receiver so far this season

Will Patterson be the typical case of an Alouette being cut and then be picked and be absolutely great elsewhere à la Chad Owens.

I hope he doesn't go elsewhere.. But the Als have a tendancy of doing that, releasing players that go and sign with other CFL teams asap

Ken-Yon Rambo released by Stamps. Wonder if Als will pick him up to add depth at WR.. Could be a nice pickup

Yeah, he was good last year and he topped off the season with a GC and was named GC MVP, but I don't think he should be #1...
I do like the fact that we have 4 players in the top 10 though!

Als add QB Stephen Garcia, former QB from South Carolina. Could be a good pick-up as 3rd QB or practice squad.

Wasn't he the NFLer?
And does that mean that Neiswander or McPheerson are cut?

I don't think so...He just finished school at South Carolina in 2011.
From what I saw during his college career, McPherson is defiantely better at this point. The main knock on him from NFL teams is that he's short for a QB (6'2). Most NFL QB's are 6'4 and up.

I'm getting a little anxious to see the new defense. Hope we start off with a convincing win.
