He just said "flour's in the cake" again. Truly, a chain-yanker.
;-\
I know it was stupid to think Bylsma actually said that to begin with, but to be honest I think it's a cool saying at this point too. Felger's just laughing at his mistake to deflect the scrutiny. I'm ok with it.

Yes, I know. And he enjoys taking the p out of folks, which is always a winner with me.

i say we start using it on the main board and see if it sticks. it can be the playoff version of gawyuck.
didn't catch all of Beers but he said Manchuk is good to go, and the thing he fears most going into the playoffs compared to last year is the dropoff of the 3rd line from Pev/Ryder to Rolston/Poo.
Haha Mazz's raging hard-on for Seidenberg is hilarious. He just called him "a block of granite on skates".
He also made the observation that more than perhaps any other Bruin, he's a guy who's got a whole other gear for the playoffs. I agree, it's almost like he's a different player.
Get in the car, turn on the radio, and Callahan is getting on Marchand for embellishing a "little tap" to the nads.
Earth to Callahan, a spear to the groin from an NHL player is not a "little tap." And by the look on Marchand's face on the bench, I thought he was going to puke. He must be one hell of an actor.
is he talking about that? cause Marchand did embellish pretty bad later in the game if I remember correctly. definitely wrong if he's talking about the groin

I thought it was clearly an embellishment. The stick just wasnt going that hard to do any damange through hockey equipment.
In fact I thought that was Marchand's greatest embelishment of the night. I didnt think the cross check to the back was a dive and I thought one of the two trips were legit.

I agree and isn't funny how when a Bruins player does it we all call it an embellishment and when a player from another team does it we all call it flopping.

Well in this case there is a difference. A flop is literally a jumping and flopping on the ice. In the spear the nuts it was something that actually happened, Marchand knew the ref saw it and he played it up. He was probably hoping for a major or even a game misconduct but the ref wasnt buying that. So in that case he embellished.

This is exactly right. You can sell the impact of a real infraction to ensure it gets called, but trying to manufacture a penalty out of nothing is what MTL and VAN do that infuriates most people.

Can't agree with this. Not saying he didn't add some embellishment, cuz he very well may have, but even with a cup, you get hit just right.......down you go!
