Ah okay - yeah there were a lot of shady scalpers trying to get like 70 bucks for one of those, I just laughed at the guy
My favorite was the two guys near the Lafayette entrance, I said, "Got any singles downstairs?" The guy goes "yeah yeah here, row 5" I say "oh okay, how much?" '40" "Hmm, will you do a trade, pair in the uppers dead center?" He jumped on it then I looked at his ticket and go, "Dude this is the balcony, what's wrong with you" He then says 'nah man these are lower level, see 100's that's lower" "Yeah in the old building, not here man"
And I see those guys out there all the time Worst scalpers ever
Those guys are funny. You have to feel sorry for them though, these guys are most likely low paid guys employed by brokers to dump excess tickets and make a living off the profit they make.
awesome thank you. what about the fire and ice bars? do you have to be a season ticket holder or something?
If you just want to check them out and/or have a beer or two, anyone can go in as soon as the game is over.

Hey, keep in mind when I posted that earlier Thursday it was "what snow"? Then, all the weather services came in-line predicting a possible decent snow like I said they would. Then they ratcheted that back to next to nothing (i.e. their forecast in the first place) for reasons that dont need discussion, but with any luck I still say we could get 2 to 4 inches.
Actually, there are several chances for snow modeled over the next few weeks, including a potentially MAJOR snow storm over Presidents Weekend, but you're not going to hear anything about that yet, as it's far out still, and models really arent reliable beyond 3 or 4 days. But the possibility is exciting if you're a snow lover.
10am, roads in Eastern Morris County are cyrstal clear of any snow, only a dusting on grass surfaces.
No snow accumulation is expected in the Newark area.

I'm in the western part of Essex and everything is good here. Snow on the grass, none on the roads. I'm about 15 minutes from Newark so I'm willing to bet we're looking at the same there. Aside from the problems with Rt 21 I read about briefly, should be pretty easy getting to the arena from most, if not all directions.

I heard Route 21 Southbound had a water main break in North Newark, which is north of Route 280.
If Eric is reading this, today would have been the perfect day for the Youth Jersey giveaway. It always draws well on weekend matinee games vs non-rivals.
There would not be so many unsold seats in the lower and 200 levels if so.
160 tickets still available in Section 215 right now alone.

Only about 1/2 inch so far in Hunterdon County, but it's not on the roads (they held onto a lot of heat). Like literally every other chance for snow this "winter", something happens in the last 24 hours that breaks it apart. Sad panda.
Dunno if there's more than one stand, but there's one on the lower level to the side of the escalator.
<---- Loathes Moe's BTW
Thanks. I've never tried it before. I never saw one in Queens lol. I want a burrito though, so I'll see what its all about. Probably not the best place to try it, but I'll try something different i guess.
Can someone tell me where the Moe's stand is again? Thank you
Just to clarify a little more from the one response: it's more or less right outside of the Fire Lounge. Just in case there was confusion as to which escalator.
Well I somehow lost my ticket between getting in my car and getting to the arena Thankfully I remembered sth's can get a replacement at the box office with id so I did.
Having internet on my phone helps but I'm not sure I even needed that. It was taken care of in just a couple minutes, once I went to a couple different lines and got pointed to the guy who does it on the extreme right, without a sign display.

Don't know what was worse, BG's weather forecast or the Devils effort.
This game was Trautwigged after the first two minutes of the game.
BRUTAL!
The people running the Moe's stand are clueless with a captial C.
They showed up late today, were not even there at 11:45am so I bypassed them and went with chicken tenders and fries.
Also, parked in the garage today, only one person scanning tickets to get in with a lonnnng line, not sure why they did not have their act together.

Hey, my forecast was that the media would all start forecasting a few inches of snow the next day, which they did, I made no promises of what would actually happen! (though I did think Newark would get 2 to 3)

It was a 1pm game, if you said they showed up at 12:30 I could understand, 11:45, not so much.
I got there about 12:15, didn't have any problems, got my burrito and it wasn't bad. I still prefer Chipotle though.
Hey guys, im going to the Devils vs Ducks game on friday and have a question about walking from Newark Penn to the Rock, should i take Market st to Mulberry St? i havent been to Newark in many many years, not sure how the area is, thanks.

Easiest way is to go from the train platform into Penn Station, and then up the escalator to the Gateway Center. Its a long stretch of office buildings/stores that drops you off right across the street from the Rock. Very convenient, no concerns about walking on the street if you aren't comfortable with the area (even though its fine), and also the opportunity to grab something to eat/sit if you have time to kill. Maybe someone could better describe to you the walking directions from the train platform to the first sign for the gateway, but its not overly difficult to find.

You can walk through the Gateway Center and it will drop you right onto Mulberry St. and you just need to cross the street and you're at the Prudential Center.
