maybe they needed more storage space and were doing a spring cleaning.

It's cool for the fans at the game tonight at least.

**I saw fans getting them on to the way in to The Rock on MSG at 7pm.

It's meant as another option to do something fun here, if you can't make one or both of the Devils events, due to them being scheduled during the day. Hope it helps some of you.
Nice gesture here, good stuff.

We are pleased to invite you to the Annual Devils Team Awards and Season Ticket Holder Autograph event on Wednesday, April 4th here at Prudential Center. Doors will open at 1:30pm. The autograph portion of the event will begin at 1:45pm and go until 2:45pm. If you have a specific item that you are interested in having signed, we encourage you to bring it with you. In order to make sure as many fans as possible are able to obtain autographs, fans will be limited to one item to be autographed, each, per player.

The Team Awards will follow immediately starting at 3pm with seating being made available in the Ice Lounge where snacks will be served. Your tickets to this event will be placed on your account in the coming days. Parking is available for a preferred price of only $5 in the Ford / Lincoln VIP Parking deck. Guest will be able to enter the building through the glass doors at the Lafayette Street entrance or through the sky bridge. Please be sure to bring your printed ticket with you as this is an exclusive Season Ticket Holder only event.

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Sounds like it's going to be like the Open House event they had before The Rock opened.

Yeah I talked to a rep today and asked about what the deal is with these workday events. I basically said, "What the folks who this was opened to - VIP/gold circle - didn't have to work or just were the boss so they could get out during the day?" And he said pretty much yeah, it was the gold circle only, turn out was decent, but they expect an uptick and those folks aint too happy. Though my "tickets" for the Practice were numbered at nearly 4,000 - I gotta figure this is a lot lower attendance wise.

What sucks is tomorrow would be perfect for me to ditch work and go to the practice, except I have a wedding in the early evening, would be tough. Next week is lining up to be 80 hours in the office, not ****ing happening

The awards has always been in the afternoon. This is nothing new, other than opening it up to everyone.

However, you were given more than a week's notice. That's the only difference.

Yeah, but still it's during the day so I bet a lot of people cant go (plus think of all the brokers that get tix emailed to them that have no interest whatsoever). Methinks I'll be checking EBAY for a ticket over the next few days!

EDIT: Hell, now that I think about it I'll probably just show up. I'll bet there's a pretty good chance someone would just give me a ticket like with in-season extras/vouchers.

Yeah I didn't know that, I'm sure a lot of people outside the VIP/Gold Circle folks didn't know that. C'est la vie

Can someone PM me the info about the Cirque du Soleil ticket email that was sent out?

My email address isn't the one linked to my family's ticket account, rather my aunt's, and when she forwarded the email to me earlier, only the header and the line with Friday's date sent through.

Thanks!

I think I'm mixing up dates here. Since I don't feel like bothering my dad to ask this question, why not do it here (in case someone can explain it, as I'm sure he's not 100% sure).

The Open Practice is today
The Team Awards is April 4th
When is the State of the Franchise event? Did the date come out for that yet? I didn't miss it, did I? I have been really interested in this event since I saw it listed on last year's renewals. I know we have it as one of our choices. Just can't remember when the date was for it. Or is it kind of overlapping with the Team Awards?

Are there any other events coming up I'm forgetting?

The "Chairman's Luncheon"..unless it's a different event, is next Saturday before the game at 12pm, email went out around March 13th.

I assume that's the same event. Can't imagine there would be so many more events in the next 2 weeks that it would be something different. I just know it was originally billed a year ago as "State of the Franchise." But that works. I couldn't remember if my dad forwarded me that email, but I can look into it then. Thanks.

Well, we haven't exactly "clinched" yet...so it'll be after that. The playoffs don't start until the 11th and we probably won't have home ice.

With that being said...probably towards the end of next week.

I take it people who took the pay per game plan are still getting the tickets mailed to them in bulk and on their account?

That's okay, I'd rather the Devils not have home ice against the Panthers, than have home ice against any of the other 7 teams.

Be glad, most of my department was eliminated a few months ago. It's like that old song, "Momma dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys finance guys". On the bright side, I'll use this unemployment opportunity to attend the awards ceremony. lol

EDIT: And for anyone else wishing to attend, there's a broker on EBAY selling tickets to the autograph and awards session next week, for only $9.99 ($9.79 after your EBAY rebate ) each.

The seats the Devils gave us for the immortal tour were club seats, section 7 row 15. Very surprised where they are.

This was a great move by the Devils and will no doubt (or at least hopefully, as it should) will generate considerable goodwill.

Lol not sure about that. Some people were pissed on another forum.

I thought it was a nice gesture considering they didn't have to do something like that for those that couldn't make it.
