Yeah, I believe that was part of it, also was that a lot of the players weren't in town yet. Fehr stays at home during the summer anyway so he was available for it.

No one is ever the same after a hit from David Steckel.

If we played the Pens 80 games a season, he definitely would have won the Rocket Richard trophy. He always played well against them. Remember two years ago on SB Sunday against the Pens at Verizon, he started the comeback when he went to the net and scored from an odd angle on Fleury.

I saw that commericial, where you got your avatar, the other day. Hilarious to see him take time to make fun of himself like that.

Simple plays, crisp passes, and hard work. Great formula.

Orlov made a sweet move to come in from the point and shoot, they need more of that.

Did i see Jeff Schultz actually making some use of his body? Looks like he actually made some physical contact behind the net, and in front of it.

Woah.

Wonderful 1st period! Caps looking good and Pavelec keeping the Jets alive.

Caps should of had at least 3 PPs in that period. I don't understand how Semin randomly gets some reputation that earns him 0 calls from the referees.

I also love Hamrlik's cross ice pass up the center to Ovechkin. Orlov really is a beast.

It was only a couple times, but it was nice seeing Hendricks make sure he finishes his checks on Enstrom. Like everyone does to Green.

So sad too. I was a really big Fehr fan during his Jr. days and really thought he could of been our Tim Kerr. Too bad injuries set him back. I wish him best of luck, but those stats don't help his future in the NHL.
