Oh joy the Habs-- another team in the same boat as us.
Can't wait to hear Howie tonight, he absolutely slaughters the names of 2/3 of the Canadiens roster.

I hate looking at the standings. I mean the Isles have gotten 7 out of a possible 8 points since the break and they are what, 1 point closer to the 8th spot? If the Isles were in the western conference they would make the playoffs.
Also, I hope Nabby gets some help tonight.

Brian Compton - NHL.com
Evgeni Nabokov starts against Montreal tonight. Milan Jurcina returns to the lineup.

This according to Staple does not bode well with all the games we have coming up:
Capuano: Travis Hamonic "still in pretty rough shape," no timetable for his recovery yet. #Isles

Isles 4-2...we are the absolute kings in giving up "firsts" and/or breaking slumps/droughts of opposing teams so I am predicting Gomez scores his first goal in over a year on us tn.

That would surely be the sign of the apocalypse.

Habs fans usually pack the coliseum.. I'm surprised there's not a blizzard outside. Let's keep the streak going and get above .500!

Very true and hate to hear the chants when they beat us, but their GDT seems like they are more pessimistic than us and the majority earlier were in full tank mode, so i wonder if there will be less there tonight due to that and fact that it is a weeknight... I will be sitting right behind the Habs bench with my upgrades in my #19 jersey so I hope they don't show up in force. Let's get this one.

Another rung of the latter tonight. Keep on climbing. These are the kind of games we have to win if we are serious about making a run to the playoffs.

With 3 home games in 4 days, Isles have to play tops to get back in it.

I wonder if "broken nose" really means one of the bones around the nasal cavity, which would really mean a broken face. I hope that's not the case.

Agreed, these next 3 games are incredibly important if the Isles are going to continue to be a factor.
We need 3 W's, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Ill be at the game tonight... up in the nose bleeds. Hoping the JT line shows up tonight.
Why are we still double bagging on the GDT?

I was close to banning you for that statement.
It's our good luck charm, you gotta double bag it.

54 points in 53 games is unheard of for this Isles team these past 5 years. It's great to finally see the rebuild slowly begin to take it's effect on Long Island. I'm hoping for a big explosion from the boys tonight after that dreadful win over Philly two nights ago.
EDIT: Let the four game winning streak begin!!!

Gomez will score tonight. We all know it is going to happen. Lets just hope it doesnt win the game. Im so much more nervous these days. Good sign...but bad sign with 30 games left to play. This team is hanging on by a thread.
