Locke with a great pass to none other than Kostitsyn who scored on his backhand !

Dogs up 1-0 !

Announcers raving about Locke's pass and playmaking abilities...

Other assist goes to Carpentier

I think the problem is the defense... getting outshot something like 50-22 against a team that is having a slow season start must mean something.

Most of the time, you will see the fowards scoring goal so if the Bulldogs can't score, it's not because of the defence.

Love the looks of a Higgs-Locke-Kosty line.

BTW, since people LOVE to make early judgements here at HF.

Kosty (3 pts in 5+ games) > Vanek (o pts in 3+ games)

Locke nows leads the Dogs in scoring with 5 pts, that puts him 3rd in the AHL in rookie scoring.

It would make sence. If Kost adapt well to NA game, he could be fourh, in front of Locke but it's not sure...

can we hop on the bandwagon and call him a locke to win rookie of the year!! Sorry, couldn't help myself with the pun!

Seriously good for him... lots of people said he'd need a a full year to adapt, but he seems to be an offensive dynamo no matter what. Hopefully he works on being elusive on his skates... with his size he'd get hurt too much at the NHL level otherwise.

Rock on Dogs!
