Political Stuff That Just Ain't Thread Worthy - Part IV
Critics poured scorn on him when, speaking at a book fair in December, he fumbled a question to name any books that had influenced him. After stumbling badly, he finally managed to identify two -- the Bible and a novel by disgraced British author and politician Jeffrey Archer.
Doesn't that sound like someone familiar....

Soon after, Pena Nieto got the minimum wage wrong and upset some female voters by telling an interviewer "I'm not the woman of the house" when asked the price of corn tortillas, a staple of the Mexican diet.
Then in January, he admitted he had cheated on his first wife and fathered two children with other women. That wife later died.
Economic recovery is a lie made by the liberal media.
while the economy is definitely improving, i wish we would stop using the performance of the stock market as a benchmark for how the economy is doing. that's basically an indication of how big-ass companies, many of which are multi-national, and their wealthy investors are doing. i mean, the stock market went up like gangbusters from the early '80s to around 9/11, and the middle and lower classes were basically seeing very little of that huge increase in wealth.
Huffington Post is reporting that Dick Cheney, at the age of 71, has had a heart transplant.
Be nice for him to have a human heart for a change.

Also, both Cheney and his family are greatful for this gift even though they don't know who the donor is. Speaking of not having a heart, I doubt it very that a self proclaimed bleeding heart liberal like yourself would have felt bad for Dick Cheney if he had died instead. Of course we will know soon enough if Cheney makes it or not since we don't know yet if the organ is accepted or rejected.
Found that funny. Lern how 2 spel when u call some1 out nxt tyme.
based on precedent set by current judges on the Supreme Court, then yes, it will be ruled constitutional. Because there's no way the judges on the supreme court will be inconsistent and make decisions based on politics...
Spain has set off further alarm bells among bond investors and its crisis-hit eurozone neighbours by conceding that its debts will balloon this year to their highest level for two decades.
The admission fanned fears that the recession-bound country will lose its battle to stay on top of its debts without reaching for outside bailout funds and knocked Spanish government bond prices.
Despite announcing its most austere budget for more than 30 years last week, Spain's government admitted on Tuesday that the debt-to-GDP ratio will jump to 79.8% in 2012 from 68.5% last year.
Majority of Canadians feel that the gap between rich and poor is too big, that corporate tax cuts should be higher and that personal taxes should be higher in order to reduce inequality and keep social programs.
The study was conducted by a think-tank founded by Ed Broadbent, so take it for what it's worth. But still, I don't think the results are too surprising.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is raising some red flags about a new House bill aimed broadly at stopping cyber threats that, in practice, would go much further.
The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011 (H.R. 3523) was introduced by Rep. Mike Rogers and Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger and “allows companies or the government free rein to bypass existing laws in order to monitor communications, filter content, or potentially even shut down access to online services for ‘cybersecurity purposes,’” according to the EFF. “Companies are encouraged to share data with the government and with one another, and the government can share data in return. The idea is to facilitate detection of and defense against a serious cyber threat, but the definitions in the bill go well beyond that. The language is so broad it could be used as a blunt instrument to attack websites like The Pirate Bay or WikiLeaks.”
I don't think you read that right. Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean. The second article says:

I joined Fox News Channel in July 2004 as a production assistant. I bounced around for a few years working for some now defunct shows. (Remember "The Lineup with Kimberly Guilfoyle"? No?)
In January 2007, I joined the O'Reilly Factor as an associate producer, and there I have remained ever since. That's me in this YouTube video pitching O'Reilly a story at the 4:00 mark.
EDIT: Nevermind. I get it. He worked there a long time and as soon as he wrote something about them he was discovered and axed hours later.
