Definitely stole 2 points tonight, we had no business even getting to OT.

I wanna say something positive about "battling through adversity" or something buuuuuuut...yeah, I'll just take the two points. Thank you Brian Elliott

Great game tonight, I enjoy watching the blues play. Too bad the result turned out the way it did. I really hope you guys do some damage in the playoffs, you deserve it.

There's probably been 6 games I feel we should have won and didn't.

Nice to have the opposite every now and then.

I am hoping no shoot out win for Nashville. They seem to do that a lot!

We deserved 0 points and got 2. Makes up for one of those SO losses Blues dominated.

24-0-0 when we score 3 or more in a game now. Looks like that record is stronger than our shootout record

Not a good game tonight, but ground out the result. Elliot kept us in it, and good to see them actually get some offense going to get Halak off the hook. Nice to steal a game like that.

There are no words to describe how I feel right now. This night has just been... so crazy.

But we won, in a shootout, that is amazing. I think I have some complicated feelings going on now for Elliot.

THIS game is Exhibit A in two things:

1. We need a third big-minutes studly D.
2. Having Halak/Elliott as a tandem is beautiful and we should NOT trade either one of them (it's been mentioned occasionally and will be discussed in the future). We need those two to push each other. At 26, they're both keepers. They're 1A and 1A on affordable deals.

BLUES WIN!!!! Brian Elliott baby!! He stole this game for us and will definitely deserve another start Saturday vs. Colorado.

The Blues didn't play their best and were pretty sloppy defensively, but we're thin at forward and our guys came through to get enough goals for the win. Gritty effort at least, although obviously could have been much better.

But hey, I'll take it. The Blues haven't played their greatest hockey since returning from the All-Star break as we all know, but yet they are still 3-1 in their first 4 including going 2-1 on that road trip. Not bad. Just gotta keep taking these points, and we're in good shape at 71 points now. Just gotta keep improving that road record (it's up to 10-11-3 now) so let's go back home, regroup for a couple days and get back to our game, and then take the road again and hopefully play more our style.

Ugly game, but entertaining to watch and nice to win a shootout again.

It wasn't pretty but I will take it. Hopefully this is the game that gets Berglund and Stewart going. We also need to get Backes and Oshie going again.. the last couple of games they have sorta fizzled out.

Two of our most lethargic and flat games all season...4 points.

These aren't your daddy's Blues anymore.

3. The importance of Berglund and Stewart, playing like Berglund and Stewart.

Definitely! Would love to see them stick around for a long time, esp if it's like this. So worth it.

A shorthanded Blues team played a pretty good road game all things considered. Not great, but pretty good. Not near the same team we saw the first 50 games this year. The 9 day layoff has hurt them for some reason.

Whats bad is... we have said this so much... it is becoming an old record and a wish.

They are okay players, but the hype and expectation on them just does not measure up to what I want from them.
