Welcome to playoff style hockey.... it ain't pretty, it's hard nosed, it's all about forecheck and cycling. We have none of that, and tonight is yet another example of it

Not many games are won when a team allows 4 goals against. Other than the Kessel line, rest of the lines looked pathetic. Finally Kulemin got bumped to the 4th line where he belongs based on his play, giving promotions to Crabb and Armstrong in the process.

They didn't deserve a point in this one. They didn't play 60 minutes.

I think I've heard the Gordie Howe hat trick phrase more in the last three months than all the seasons I've been watching hockey combined. Give it a rest ffs

This game meant a lot, we're going to be a 7th or 8th seed now. We let them get away and there is basically zero chance of moving up now. Just hold onto the 7th at least.

And of course everybody we wanted to lose would win, bad day for Leafs. And knowing the Leafs, they will lose the next one too just to even out that 3 games won, with 3 losses. Go Leafs Go playoffs here we come!

We really need to win Saturday's game vs. the Habs. Chalk this one up to losing to the superior team.

Moving on.

We have to come out stronger, inexcusable to come out that flat in a playoff race. I don't usually like to bring out the " must win" motto but Saturday is a MUST WIN!!! we lose on Saturday then we don't even deserve to make the playoffs. We should be flying all night long.

Good god, the final 2 minutes were awful. It shows you why Leafs need to become better and tougher on the forecheck. They lose puck battles far too easily.

Doesn't need to be said but Leafs were awful tonight. Grabo and Connolly line were completely invisible tonight.

At least Kessel line put up a couple of points as did Schenn who I thought was our best defensemen. And the PK remains perfect in 2012!

Disappointed with the KGM line, Lombardi and Connolly are just black holes offensively. Seemed to be a lot of miscues with passing and such tonight. We really need someone who can cycle the puck in our top six.

Yeah, IF we make the playoffs and run up against a NJ, Philly or Boston i think we get swept. Maybe Reimer steals one...but we cant play this style.

I ****ing hate people who are like "calm down"

We are not a top 2 team in the standings... We are on the border of the playoffs. We can't afford to lose these ****** games especially when everyone else wins

We could be in for a little slide with the Habs on Saturday and then the western Canada road trip. Hopefully they turn it around.

You do realize that every team in the league loses games, right?
