You couldn't be more wrong. He is a big time cheap shot artist as was his brother.

Good: Great bounce-back performance from Stepan. MDZ really played well in transition and in the offensive zone. Boyle-Prust seem to be really clicking again.

Bad: Honestly don't think I've seen total team, 6 man defensive breakdowns like that in a while. Gave me some bad flashbacks.

Redden: A big ol' **** you to Dominic Moore. As much as we need a faceoff guy there is no way I could bring myself to root for him. Honorable mention to Tampa's color guy, gives the Pittsburgh crew a run for their money.
That would be Bobby Taylor.

The same piece of garbage which accused Tomas Sandstrom of "acting school" when he was down on the ice after Dave Brown cross checked Sandstrom in the face.

The other idiot was Gene Hart.

Not what people thought when he was here. Who couldn't have been more wrong then?

If MZA was on the team, we would have swept.

What is Torts thinking giving it to his Captain?! Stepan deserves it!

We're not even a dynasty.
You know there would be one about Avery too

Ironically, it was last time that a Moore received serious retribution that is a major reason the NHL doesn't work that way anymore.

Not to restart this debate again, but I think that the point is that Eminger tries to by physical, but actually misses on most of his attempts. And whereas Bickel actually does clear the crease, Eminger does not.

As for defensemen fighting, I get your point. However, those have been teh types that have been drafted recently. Fighting is a part of their game. Why draft them at all, if you will try to change the player that they are?

Feds got away with boarding on Moore earlier in the shift, he was clearly frustrated...I don't think he's a cheap player but emotions got the best of him there. Will be interesting to see what Shanahan hands down. I'm thinking a 2 gamer or a max fine...hopefully it's something though because Feds was nowhere near the puck and it was retaliatory.

Also, welcome back BRich...what an extra pass by Artie there too That's skill right there, we don't see enough of that in the offensive zone from this team.

Big 2 points, and avoid the shootout to keep the ROW column growing.

Let's get 3 out of 4 here this weekend at least!

I was thinking of that.

In other ntoes, the next 3 games will be a serious test for Rangers. 3 very physical games. Washington is a team that they just do not match up well with.

Book it.

Also: expecting an epic playoff battle with the Devils before all is said and done. It's how we get there.

Looking forward to Rangers hockey in June.
This.

I think we're gonna do it the old fashioned way and truly go through hell and back and pull off the improbable. I say we go through the devils in round 1, flyers in round 2, and bruins in the ECF before an epic seven-game series with the Red Wings. And I think Boston goes through Montreal and then Pittsburgh before getting to us in the ECF.

Last night, after finishing it, Richards acknowledged that he has much work to do.

“I’m not anywhere near where I want to be,” No. 19 said. “But at least tonight I’ll be able to get some sleep.
From this article.
God love him. He's a big internalizer and he takes the game home with him--he said as much when he struggled when he started in Dallas. I hope playing in the fishbowl that is NYC doesn't destroy him psychologically. (I'm sure he'll be fine.)

Even Richards himself is admitting he's not playing up to his standards, so can the excuses such as blaming his linemates stop already?

I'm assuming he's having trouble adjusting to the team and the city, so hopefully next season he bounces back in a major way. The good thing is that he has had a tendency to score some clutch goals despite his playmaking and PP struggles.

People have been making comments about the Bolts color guy. Would love to hear his commentary on the Moore hit.

I missed it if some one put it up already thanks.

Re: Moore. I have heard over the years that he rubbed a number of people the wrong way when he was here. Got the rep of being a smug, smart Alec and then went to arb. if I remember correctly.

If the Rangers win tomorrow it guarantees that it will be over a full calendar year since the Flyers have beaten them. Their last win against us was February 20th. The Rangers won the final two matchups last year (the early March destruction at MSG and the early April shootout win in Philly). Tomorrow would mark 7 in a row against them if they win. Next matchup isn't until early April in Philly.

I only capture the Rangers broadcasts myself but I have my ways of getting the other feeds as well on an as-needed basis.

Maybe Mouth or someone else has Red Light's call on the radio for the same play.

Brown was such a POS.

"The Chief" as he's know is quite possibly a worse and more blatantly bias color announcer than anyone else in the league. Including the Pens/Devils broadcasters. He should've been fired before they won the Cup. Immaturity and whinning are his good points unfortunately.
