Ruslan Fedotenko [Jaw/Head] (2/13: Likely back for Boston game)

Feds left the 1/9/12 TB game after Dominic Moore hit him in the jaw/head with a shoulder.

Post any updates here.

Wolski is going to step in. He needs to. Its easier to showcase him that way. If he doesnt do well were back where we are now. He certainly wont hurt them being out there

What a POS Moore is! At least 3 games for him. Should be more if the league wants to make sure players know not to pull that ****, but considering all the previous suspensions, it's three games.

lol that would be awesome in a nostalgic way.
That guy was seriously loved when here...
but he makes Brandon Prust look like a sniper...

Realistically, this is MZA's shot. He has been Connecticut's best player all year. He deserves his shot.

I don't know the scaling for suspensions, but that is a very, very dirty play by Moore.

Did anyone stand up for Feds?

As much as I love MZA, (see the username), I'm not sure this is his shot. He doesn't fill Fedotenko's defensive grinder role. Neither do Christensen or Wolski but their size makes them seem like more apt options for the right reasons or not. I'd definitely like to see Hagelin and MZA work some magic though.

If it's a bottom 6 guy they need, they may call up Newbury again. I'm not a fan of him, but he fits the role better than Wolski or MZA.

wolski definitely gets the call here.

he moves up to the 2nd line.

hagelin moves down to the 3rd. that's about it. he's already shown he makes that line better.

this is wolskis shot to see if he stays on the big club. if he can't provide offense these next 2 weeks we're acquiring someone else for sure.

Some day, my prayers will be answered and Newbury will no longer be in the Rangers organization. Bring up someone if necessary, anyone, but not Newbury.
Contrary to popular opinion, he is not okay, and not good enough.

Wow...Moore is not like that usually. Never was here and hasn't been since. I'm shocked. That was as cheap as they get.

Moore better be suspended that was a cheap shot, ridiculous. The NHL always tries to make rule changes and suspensions to stop stuff like this but eventually the players need to take matters into their own hands and have some respect for the game. They are all the elite players playing at the highest level in the NHL have some respect for your peers and fellow players and stop with the garbage slew footing, cheap shots, elbows to the head.

If he had made that hit coming from the front when feds had the puck where he coulda seen him i would say it's a clean hit (ALA scott stevens on paul kariya). but going from behind its super dirty.
