Its funny the different ways to look at this game. On one hand you could say this is the best 2nd night of B2B game the Stars have played this season. Their effort and compete levels were much higher than previous games. We scored a PP goal and the other PPs looked a lot better than before. Vincour, Goligoski, Benn, Ryder, Eriksson all had good games. Lehtonen was great. We got a loser point, which we need more of when we do end up losing. We only lost because of a crapshoot SO.

On the other hand, they dropped a 2-0 lead in less than 20 minutes. Ott probably had his worst game all season tonight. Robidas continues to suck. They still continue to get outchanced consistnetly. They're still 0-8-2 in B2Bs. They dropped to 16-0-1 when leading after 2. Kari gave them a game and they botched it.

Just don't know what to think of this game.

I thought the Detroit game was way more impressive. Buffalo is not a good team.

I'm past the point of hinging any feelings about this team on any new information. They would basically have to go on an 8-0 winning streak to get me to change my mind. I'm interested in watching how individual players perform within the team concept for the rest of the season and if that somehow, some way manifests itself into a playoff team then great. This thing has more problems than I can count on one hand though and I'm fully convinced that some semi-drastic changes need to take place for the Stars to get back to sustainable competitiveness.
