Yep, I think it's more likely we land Parise via trade than Whitney. The Yotes aren't moving him. They need to make the playoffs. Even just two extra home games is huge for them.

Yah know what's funny, after you posted this, I just looked at the standings, and didn't realize that Phoenix was at the 8th spot. I thought they were still out of it. That is not a possibility after all.

I'm not saying to sell the farm, but I hate the idea of us sitting, but if the asking price for Ruutu is that high, we may just have to wait for Free Agency, which absolutely kills me, because this team, if another scorer is added, has a real chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

Just saw this - Stars interested in Dubinsky Some very loose speculation about a deal from Dallas sending Dubi for Eriksson coming our way. A 1 to 1 deal is certainly a "YES" imo. What would we be willing to add - if anything - to make this go through? And is there any plausible reason that Dallas would do something like this?

Sorry, where does it say that the Stars are interested in Dubinksy? All I see is an article posted by the Stars beat writer who says the team should consider him. What am I missing?
