Feb. 12, 2004 -- Simon Gagne and Sami Kapanen scored and Sean Burke, acquired due to injuries to Jeff Hackett and Robert Esche, made 26 saves in his return to the Flyers in a 2-1 win at NY. Jeremy Roenick suffered a broken jaw after being hit by a Boris Mironov slapshot and was knocked unconscious with blood oozing from his mouth. Roenick, who lay motionless for several minutes, got up and as he left the ice clutching a towel to his face, waved to the fans, who gave him an ovation; he missed the next 19 games. Thirty-two seconds later, Keith Primeau was helped off the ice after he collided with Bobby Holik; Primeau missed the next 21 games with a concussion.

Shutout.

I can feel it in my wrists.

Edit: Oh, it's a 1PM start. I guess the shutout is for the Rangers, then.

Lost all hope in these games really. But I will still watch a train wreck everyday of the week.

Yeah, this weekend has the potential to be a pivotal point for their season. If they could come away with wins against both Rangers and Red Wings, on back to back, they could really go on a roll. A lot easier said then done, of course.

The fact that the flyers are a premier team and have to play these National Games are ruining our season.

Back to Back against the two best teams in the league?

Back to Back last week Against two tough division opponents

I just want to play the Bruins and Rangers once this season on a normal 7 o clock game on a tuesday. Is that so much to ask for.

My buddy got free tickets to the game so I couldn't say no, I guess instead of yelling at the tv I can do it in person, go Flyers hopefully they can pick up a point

I have never really liked the afternoon games for whatever reason, but i sure hope our club can continue with its offensive fire power and start netting more of the great chances we seem to get every game....Love to see Jagr and Roo start hitting the twine a little more.Should be a great game !

I can feel something that feels like the opposite of shutout, and I can feel it far away from my wrists. But I'm a real pessimist.

They beat New Jersey on January 21

It was less than a month ago.
