Agree. Even with some space he always botches his chances. This is the skill set that dominate his junior league?

Maybe Caps figures it got Okposo going, maybe it can work for Nino too.

I was just about to type what Butchie said. Can Cappy actually be doing a little line mixing tonight? It's about time.

I wouldn't, maybe the guy should do something positive to get better ice time

I'm very concerned about someone getting hurt today. Not due to dirtiness, but I can see someone twisting a knee or an ankle, or falling awkwardly and tearing a shoulder. This ice seems like frozen mud tracks made by a pay loader.

Pretty lucky to slip away with the lead after such a period.

Frustrating period. Good to have the lead, but they can't keep up the sloppy play.

If the Isles are in the offensive zone and Hunter is on the ice, the Isles HAVE to utilize their d-men at the points. On that goal, Eaton had space to shoot/pass because Hunter is still a bit slow, though he has tried to improve his skating.

Howie incorrectly pointed out that Kenny's final two seasons were years the Isles made the playoffs...but it was actually 3 seasons, 01-02, 02-03, and 03-04. Still first round flops...but I'm surprised they were in the playoffs for 3 straight seasons.

Just an FYI, it wasn't Cappy's decision. JT just got caught on a really long shift. His wingers changed but as a center he needed to stay on for defensive reasons. It just happened to work out like that.

JT also ended up out there with Martin for a little bit too. It's just the way the shift changes went and not Cappy mixing up the lines.

I figured as much, but I'd like Cappy to finally do some line mixing. What have we got to lose? Most of the forwards have underperformed, JT could get someone going.
