Kind of disappointing.

Some obvious story lines that get missed and ones that get included that seem almost random. Also strange editing of what would be considered the stories.

Typical that they would cliffhang tease the Gagner segment? Who saw that one coming?

But it throws off the whole theme of what the segment should be.
For instance Gagners fight, Hall joking about that fight, and "I think this is a good look for you Sam" That needed to be on there along with the ribbing and the line finding some magic culminating with Gagners 8pt night. All that needed to be on the same episode as its a natural progression. A battling of adversity for all.

Really the best part of he episode was OKC segments. Which says a lot about our season I realize..

The best part of the Oiler portion was the depiction of Halls spirit, tenacity, and refusing to say no to coming back early from the injury. That was some special stuff that we all know about and deserved to be on there.
RNH on the Sedins snubbing him in favor of Landeskog was a little funny as well.

But mostly this series steers well clear of anything that could really be called behind the scenes. You really end up knowing nothing about the club that you didn't already know.

Gotta love Krueger rambling on about "the process, not results"...I think he talked for about 5 minutes without saying anything remotely insightful or smart.

Can we get new coaches please?

Krueger is a highly regarded coach. It is a process, especially with the very young players we have. Maybe you didn't understand the message, perhaps it isn't his intelligence you should be questioning.

Highly regarded by who?

He was just spouting the usual lines to distract the fans. I guess it worked. IGNORE THE RESULTS!

Theres no doubt he's a good coach. Sometimes the question is how good is the audience and are they paying adequate attention to details.

When this club has bothered to play the system I've liked how they look.

What is more important to you, making the playoffs or developing our young players? Because that was the essense of his (Kruegers) message.

I believe this trying time will pay dividends in the near future. And I am excited by the quality players we have obtained to push us into the playoffs. Anyone who doesnt see how hungry and passionate Hall and Eberle are about winning just isnt looking close enough.

Them, Smid, Gagner, and who else?
You need a team to win. Not 4-6 players.

Having a good farm system helps. We do need more pieces to the puzzle that is for sure. But we have a core to build from.
