Rangers passing is smart, the goal is to shoot. They are keeping it simple and taking advantage of ****ups by the Flyers.

Love the patience.

I didn't say "oh god pp" on the first PP, so that is why I didn't include it, but I'll take whatever we can get

Again on the powerplay guys, Gaborik and Richards. I know they weren't passing to each other, but still a little chemistry on the power play and maybe that can translate into its own line, providing Stepan goes into a slump or something. Just food for thought lol.

Hags is so unpredictable I predict he's going to be the one we talk about after the game..

Either he'll win it for us or cost us the game..

Rangers look very good, very good period of Hockey.

Stu Bickel has the potential to have 4 fights today, figure he has nothing much better to do out there.

Good to have that toughness in the lineup vs Flyers.

Great period. Can't fault anyone for the Flyers goal, just a great tip.

Richards coming around would be sooooo nice.

How about that power play? Jeez...who would've thought that quick movement (all aspects, pucks AND bodies away from the puck) would result in success?

I really loathe the Flyers, I hate everything about that organization...love how Bickel just wants to hand it to Sestito every chance he gets, regardless of how many linesman are in the way. Anyone else notice Sestito leaking from his mouth after the fight?

Gotta keep the foot on the gas, can't back down physically, and continue that kind of play for 40 more.

It's just refreshing to see the Rangers carry the puck through the neutral zone, making a few quick short passes along the way. I wonder if the Flyers will try to stop that.

Bobby Clobber Clarke always has his stamp on Flyers teams. 'Might is Right' beat 'em in the alley. It doesn't work as well when the other team doesn't buckle under and actually pushes it back in to their face.

Great game, love the emotion.

I'm trying to make Gaborik a man. His parents are on board with it. There are responsibilities outside of scoring goals that you have to do. It's nothing major, we just need the kid to grow up. I get joy and sadness on wins and losses but ultimately I go to bed at night asking, Am I helping this kid or not?

jeebus Pruster no goals in 48 games.....he's more of a PK, toughguy but he needs to chip in...........how come no one ever gets on Prust?

I still would resign him for next but the lack of goals can be used in negotiations

Really good period, probably a bit unlucky that we aren't up by more than 1. PP has looked good, it seems they've gone back to a very basic strategy, which is great to see.

It's also great to see just how much the Rangers are in the Flyers heads, funny stuff

You could see that 2nd PP goal coming once they had Timmonen trapped in the defensive zone. I was screaming you've got him trapped if you move the puck. Nice job by Stepan and BR to exploit the Flyer confusion with Timmonen caught up ice.
