Look for E.J. to get rocked by the freight train known as Rock You Like a Hurricane Oshie.

Elliott shouldn't let up more than a goal as the Blues win a rock em sock em game 3-1.

Look guys, we can call it even all we want but at the end we all know Rattie > Seimens. The Avs blew that pick. LOL

P.S. EJ bust.

LOL. ah "dmitri" was a name my ex gave so I kinda grew out of that. Plus I met someone REALLY annoying named dmitri in real life and the name became a bigger turn off.

So went with my favorite player's name.

O'Reilly last night: "It was a lucky break for me. I don't think I deserved a score tonight because my hands weren't there. But that's the way it goes sometimes."

He overdoes the self depreciating thing, but I guess that's how he motivates himself.

Reminds me of Forsberg. A typical postgame interview with him:

"Peter, you had a goal and two assists tonight, talk about your performance."

"Yeah, I got pretty lucky out there, my line mates made some great plays...."

Am watching the Pens-Jets right now as a bit of a warm up for tonight's game. Neal just scored a goal right off the faceoff where the Pens ran a special formation I haven't seen before.

Jets had been lazy physically on their men off draws all period, so Bylsma runs the special formation which gives Neal a quick, clean shot and they score.

Such good coaching. I was so impressed. I guess I just forgotten what it looked like watching the Avs all year.

O'Reilly reminds me of a less skilled Forsberg, he's got that extra gear he can put himself into where he's easily the best player on the ice, like we saw in the 3rd last night.

A win tonight (and a Phoenix loss) puts the team back in 8th, 2 points behind LA for 7th.

This year, I've been most impressed with Landeskog, O'Reilly, and Wilson. Landeskog and O'Reilly, especially, are the kinds of tenacious two-way players the Blues have gathered up in Backes, Oshie, Sobotka, and Steen, so they seem to show up in games against the Blues.

I hope it's a good one.

Blues are one of my favorite non-Avs teams. Usually at least top 5 but this year they're definitely #2. If the Avs don't make the playoffs I'm definitely on the Blues bandwagon. And if they do make the playoffs I'm cheering for them after the first round

Hope it's at least a close game, but we really need a win tonight
