The Wild are a horrible team with no chance of making the playoffs! Despite the losing streak and the hopelessness of the season they continue to sell 90% of their seats. The Wild has an average ticket price over $50, yet will lose close to 10MM this year. Ask yourself if that is the economic reality in Minny, what is the economic reality of the PHX situation? Thanks for asking it proves my point once again, the Coyotes no matter who owns them and as long as they remain in Glendale they will always lose money-nobody wants that burden.
Sorry, I dont care about the Wild like you do. I am a Coyotes fan.

Too bad you can`t seem to make the connection that for this team to remain in the desert they will need to able to show a prospective owner that they have the ability to make money. The Wild comparison is done to show you that the Coyotes are light years away from ever even breaking even. You wonder why nobody has stepped up? Money my friend, there is no money to be made in this investment it is pretty simple.
Weird cause the complete opposite is being reported by the local media which you should have heard....should I post this in wild forum or wait to talk crap until the last few games we play against each other? Or heck we can go totally ot and talk about the vikings using l.a. to get a stadium deal?

Now...the City of Glendale still has a say in this, so it's not done..yet. But, it is real, real close. #Coyotes

Some tweets. JR and Ice Edge have been approved before so I'm not convinced of anything yet.
How ironic its being said a deal is close to being done by the deadline just like last season. Also just like last season as the playoffs were coming closer to happening the rumor mill of the Coyotes relocating to a new city rears its ugly head again in the hopes of trying to knock the players off their focus on playing hockey.

So the local media is reporting that the Coyotes are making money and are successful? I don`t think so.

He's the most successful troll in Coyote boards history, I'm still amazed how many of you still entertain him.

Just because mesamonster has a different opinion that doesn't mean he/she is trolling. Plus to be fair with mesa he/she isn't wishing for us to lose out team. Troll/trolling are both overused buzzwords on the internet.

Please!!! In a bandwagon/ fairweather market like this, the last thing that should be bragging about is any kind of a minor sellout streak when the streak doesn't even happen in the worst of times every single game. Too bad most of the Arizona Cardinals Bandwagon Fans didn't learn this lesson when preaching to Cowboys and Steelers fans about selling out every game in the new shiny spaceship while choosing to ignore how bad attendence was at Sun Devil Stadium.

In order for any NHL team to be a new arena in Seattle 2 things have to happen:
1. There must be an NBA team there.
2. Whoever owns the NHL team there is going to want concessions in order to operate the team there and not rely solely on ticket sales for income.
Right now, I don't see a new arena happening in Seattle for the last thing the NHL wants to have is Atlanta 2.0 where the NHL team is used as a pawn to get a new arena in an area where the market wans an NBA team more and have some owner dump off the NHL team after a few seasons of poor management.
Yes this market is similar to l.a. but we are talking about filling a stadium against dallas, not chicago or suck wings, but dallas! That means its mostly coyote fans or people interested in a mid feb game. It gives momentum going froward. Yeah it would be more impressive if they came when the coyotes were terrible but people wont pay to see losers...that is the biggest complaint because people haven't been coming to see a winner in town. David Shoalts has a dog named Gary Bettman. This morning he asked his dog if it is true that the Jamison rumors are false and the Coyotes are in fact about to be sold to a Quebec businessman. Based on this conversation, Shoalts new headline will be:
Gary Bettman could not deny that the Jamison rumors are false and that the Coyotes are in fact about to be sold to a Quebec businessman and relocated.
