Top hit!

Which one of these Habs Top Ten hit is your favourite?

http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...d=66&id=152817

I can't decide between #2 and #1 on this list. Absolutely awesome!

Larsson got hurt so maybe that explains its omission... or that PK's big hits are of the same variety. Emelin though? Wow, every type of bone crunching hit!

I liked the one where Emelin threw Krejci into the boards. I know he's not a big guy or anything, but any time I see the Bruins get bullied I feel a little happier.

Subban has to top coming into his hits though. A couple of those hits were borderline left his feet before contact ones. Playing with fire.

They would have enough crushing hits by Emelin for a top 10 on him alone.

#1 for me, you see the impact on the replay, oh my!

Try to watch that hit and not have a smile on your face. Impossible!

I agree with the poster above, Emelin could have a Top 10 all by himself, and the best part is that they are all clean hits.

He's building a reputation amongst referees and opposing players that he is clean hitter who should be feared.

Both 1 and 2, they're not only spectacular, but they also completely anihilate the other team's offensive opportunity.

Good examples of great hits.

P.s.: The music and video effects make me think this was edited by a fifteen year old who just got his first mac.

From those hits, #1 is my favorite. Solid! I find P.K leaves his feet a little too much, although I love his hits. Larson was maybe the best hit a Hab has thrown in a decade. The hit on Versteeg looks sweet but Versteeg did that to himself, coming in on one leg. Teehee.

Where is the Blunden hit versus the Rangers?

EDIT:

EDIT:
Jacques Martin sent him to the minors for getting 4 minutes on the hit.

Yeah, I remember... stupidity at it's best. It's a clean hit! Ok, so it was too many men on the ice but the hit itself was clean.

It is a very dangerous play to have a 6th skater come on the ice and immediately check a player. Imagine the it the other way around: PK is skating up the ice and as soon as he hits the Bruin's blueline Chara just decides to jump off the ice and nail him, catching P.K. completely by surprise. The hit, in isolation, may be clean, but the play most certainly is not.

Yup my thoughts exactly. Maybe it was edited before the NJD game? Anyways, you gotta give it to Subban for mastering his signature back hit. He's doing it more and more often these days. Emelin is such a beast too.

That hit is the only thing Blunden did well this season!

Huh? Please tell me you're trolling. Blunden has arguably been our best/most consistent 4th liner. He's a fantastic energy guy and will look good with White when they return.

There is the Emelin/ Malone hit that is worth watching too. Malone went for the hit but ended up taking the worst of it:

Honestly the entire list could have been Emelin and they wouldn't be wrong. Nice to showcase hits by other people though.
