Haha well EJ, McClement, Shattenkirk, and Stewart all seem to play well in these games. They've all scored some goals against their former teams. I wish EJ well though, he was a good guy and is looking pretty solid tonight.

Obviously the story for the Blues right now is David Perron. He is on fire and playing great!

Weird to see 2-2 after the 1st but should be a good next 2 periods.

If Johnson was left handed, would he still be on the Blues?

No, he was not traded because he was right handed.

Well when you're team hasn't gotten one in over 2 games you get pretty frustrated

Wow, Berglund, Backes, Perron, Oshie and Pietrangelo all in on that goal.

The Blues system strikes again!

I like Elliott's chances of rebounding more than I do Varly's.

Not good at all to give up a goal in the last minute of a period. The Blues are a LOT better than this Avs team. Why can't they put them away early, when they're at home? Why is it always a struggle against them, almost regardless of who's on both teams?

One wouldn't think the Blues match up poorly against The Avs.

not much Elliott can do about some of those screens, where as Varly just looks bad

I like EJ but I wish we'd traded Stewart for Perron instead.

For real. I love how they think that because they take more penalties than they get, its the refs fault. Ever think your team takes stupid penalties? That was not a penalty on Nichol either, but yeah maybe they'll shut up now. Refs suck for every team, thats how its been all year.

6 minutes into the first, already 2-0 Phoenix over the Hawks.

Total meltdown with the Hawks. They might miss the playoffs.

I would really enjoy that if it happened, but no way the Hawks are this bad.

I hear you, I really do. For whatever reason the Avs have had our number in recent years and it's frustrating. But this team misses Steen badly, and with Arnott/Dags/McDonald out as well, I can't say that I expect the Blues to be putting many opponents away early in the game, especially teams like the Avs who are in a tight struggle for the last playoff spot. To be fair Colorado is missing Duchene, but nobody else of significance as far as I know.

EJ has been pretty good this game, but I guess that's to be expected.

Berglund really does look like a man possessed tonight with a little puck luck he should get on the score sheet if he keeps it up
