3 stars are obvious, no arguments there... This game was perfect! I was hoping for some more attacking display in the second and third period (since we were outshot by the Flyers) and a 5-2 win, including 3 powerplay-goals is more than I could wish for!!!

NYR can make Philly's power play so powerless, Nikki Cox in her prime couldn't turn it on.

I don't have a ton to add, just a great game.

Richards had a phenomenal performance, that is what we are paying him for. Great game from McD as well.

I think Hagelin had a really good game too. Not on the score board, but he still got us some of the key power plays we needed, and now after this game I'm sure the power play will look like its supposed to. All they needed was some confidence and reassurance.

The Rangers are living rent free inside the Flyers heads.

Let me say something here. The Rangers are a contender. I know that some will refuse to believe that but it's very real.

Is this rivalry the best in the league? Most fights between these teams this season, very physical and so much hatred!

Still have to give it to Toronto/Montreal for reasons of history and politics, but this one is up there.

Rangers are a contender when Gaborik and Richards are playing good enough to put up 3+ points effortlessly.

Let's hope we see them build on this game. Huge, especially for Richards.

BOS/MTL and CGY/EDM when both are good are right at the top as well.

I thought it was BOS/MON. But, this season there hasn't been any other rivalries like the NYR and PHI.

If the PP is half as good as it was today, they are definitely contenders. One of the biggest obstacles to go deep is the PP. Special teams is extremely important in the playoffs where teams rarely make mistakes. Gotta capitalize on them to win games otherwise you aren't gonna be winning many.

Absolutely. That's why this can't be an anomaly and we need to see this more consistently.

Richie was a man possessed. Best game played in a NYR sweater and it's not even close IMO.

Hows this for a crazy stat: Rangers 40-0-2 when leading after two periods since the 10-11 season.

This game had everything from the Rangers perspective

passionate fights (not staged)
tape to tape passing
power play goals
contribution from high paid guns
defense was a bit more loose than i'd like but still managed, with Hank's help, to hold them to 2 goals

wish we'd see this Ranger team more often.

1/2/3 in no order are Callahan, Richards, and Gaborik.

Really solid game. Bad second period, but otherwise, good win.

Just totally shutting everyone down.

"I can't answer that."

"That's a question for the players."

Etc., etc.
