I think you guys are being a little rough on Hall. The guy had numerous offensive chances. In the second alone he a few rushes down the his wing and was snapping it on goal and creating chances. Saw some very good backchecking from him in the 2nd and 3rd periods (plays that go unnoticed usually) as well.

Yeah I dont think his game was that bad. He also blocked a few shots. I think people forget how young he is sometimes.

Even on Horcoff goal he made a good play to keep the puck in and then went to the front of the net, both Dmen took him and left Horcoff wide open. In the past he probably would have made the play to keep the puck in and then circled back into his own zone.

He also almost scored the winner when he hit iron in the 3rd.

More effort & try in his game than ANY of the vets game to game. 1st line was checked very tight by Sens today. Hall set Gags up with 30 secs left. Anderson got a piece of it. At worst he was average.

Yeah he skated the puck out well at least three times I seen today plus his pass to eager was great. He for sure can become a good NHL dman.

Offensively he's quite something. Really rounding into form and looks like an extra forward out there. A rover.

He's been a little high event both ways. Make some bad turnovers too today.

But I like Petry. I think he's only getting better and confidence is showing.
